Although the property is quite old but it is well maintained. Experience at swimming pool and walking down the gardens was awesome. Non Veg food was good, but vegetarian food was below average and lacked taste. Staff was very courteous & helpful. Extra bed quality not upto the mark as per pricing. Wi Fi was missing, even in common area it was challege to get connectivity. As there is no television in rooms they should provide hi speed Wi Fi as we wanted to do Netflix.

The property is only beautiful looking, but from doorman to waiter service are really worse. I called for the security lock it wasn't working but no one came to solve even during the night AC stopped working so we stayed there in warm. And they have anly few items in food buffet Wich isn't very good. We took water bottle after eating in the restaurant as they have no room service....We never expect such an worse in 5star hotel. And yes they've no TV don't forget 😅

A luxurious property with great amenities & services. The staff was very friendly and courteous . They were accommodating to last minute changes to number of guests, and provided resourceful connections to local taxi for site-seeing, pickup & drop off from Sawai Madhopur station. The breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet has good veg and non-veg options, with additional option for barbeque counter ! They have additional star gazing session by Astroden, which was a highlight for me. They also arranged great ranthambore tiger reserve safaris (Rajiv being the local coordinator for us) - with last minute guest accommodations in the gypsy. Overall, a fantastic experience. Will definitely visit again with friends and family.

Restful, old world grandeur.
The hotel is situated in an old palace which is built in the traditional style around a series of courtyards. The rooms are spacious and clean, bathrooms are well equipped. The whole place feels a little like stepping back in time - in a nice way - and is very calm. There are two pools, one is a spectacular ‘step-well’ style and the other, in a courtyard by the spa, is also nice. All the meals are buffet style which we didn’t love although the food was fine. The shop is a treasure trove of fabrics - they can make clothing in a couple of hours and do a very nice job, jewellery, blankets and cashmere. We were collected directly from the hotel for tiger safaris. It was a very restful place for a couple of nights.

okay stay for Christmas
The property was beautiful and comfortable. Rooms were well appointed. Not sure why my my children (13,11)couldn’t stay in my room, given the size and divans available for sleep. The service was downright awful. The servers are at the restaurant (buffet) were put out if you asked for anything, including clearing your plates. The resort was at capacity and the staff could not keep up with breakfast buffet after the safari. This hotel will be great if you go when not in season FYI - NO Reliable WIFI, poor cell phone reception in the area, and no TVs in the room or other source of entertainment. Bring books or board games etc.

Great stay a lovely property
Really amazing property. Well laid out and huge. Very big comfortable rooms with big courtyards in the middle. The swimming pools are a site to behold although sadly we went in the winter and couldn't really enjoy them. The service staff especially the wait staff at the restaurants are amazing and gracious in typically Rajasthani hospitality. I would suggest that the Nahargargh property is likely second only to the Oberoi in Sawai Madhopur (we went there for a meal). My only suggestion would be to look into the quality of food served which was part of our all inclusive package. The food was ok with a quite reasonable spread but could be just better from a quality perspective. Simple things like having proper coffee and tea.. Or better quality of all the local dishes on offer. Buy that I would say is a relatively minor blip in an otherwise quite fantastic hotel experience.

This hotel was delightful! The staff and service was excellent, the hotels ambience was wonderful. We stayed here for two nights and thought all aspects of the hotel were excellent, we stayed mainly to go on safari trips (which the hotel helped organise). Would definitely recommend if you are wanting something a bit different.

Spectacular
This is by far the best hotel experience we have ever had traveling. The service provided by the staff at the hotel is outstanding. They are friendly and go above and beyond. All meals were included in the price of the room. It was a delicious buffet style with a variety of options. They also had complementary coffee, tea, and cookies at all times. The hotel resembles a Fort. The grounds were well maintained and the rooms were spacious and very clean. It reminded us of late 19th century. If you stay here, you will not regret it!

Palace in Ranthambhore
Nov 9 - Nov 12. Some words come to mind to describe my stay at Nahargarh Ranthambhore. Palatial – Grand - Welcoming. If I could assign Nahargarh hotel a six (6) star rating I would. The hotel is large, stately and the architecture is understated but grand and one has a feeling of being transported to an Old India of a bygone era. I had a premium room with terrace overlooking country side. Décor elegant with a touch of British flair and reflects the overall ambience of hotel. My Room spacious, quiet and secure. Price of room also included full board meals. Food for breakfast, lunch and dinner plentiful with a nice selection of foods and delicious. Staff was efficient beyond what one would expect especially servers in dining room. My special gratitude and thanks extended to Rajveer for services rendered at reception and for his efficient handling of my four safari game tours bookings. And yes, I and other tourists did spot a tiger on one of the game drives. I highly recommend allowing extra time relaxing and simply enjoying the hotel grounds and its amenities such as the pools, bar, and other common areas. In sum, a bargain in price for all that is offered.

Top Hotel - wished we had booked another night
Other than the fact the swimming pool was very cold and not an enjoyable swim the hotel was excellent.

What a great hotel big spacious and the staff are so friendly and helpfull and its so close to Ranthambhore national park 5 mons drive from zone 3 which is the best zone to go for if you're here

A mahraja's palace
The hotel is not more than 12 years old, yet it looks like a stately maharaja's palace. The decor is very detailed, including multiple arches, reflecting small mirrors, chandeliers, multiple pools, and best of all, a very helpful, hard-working staff. Special thanks to Rajveev, who took special care in arranging my safaris, and to AJ, the front office manager, who facilitated my other travel needs.

Large, palatial property with trees and flowers, always welcome in dusty Rajasthan, India. Very convenient to Ranthambore Tiger Reserve and Ranthambore UNESCO Heritage Site Fort. Large room. Excellent dinner quality and service. However, the approach 'road' is a long, dusty approach which needs improvement.

Comfortable hotel close to Ranthambhore park
Overall a good experience - nice outside dining area for dinner, good service, rooms basic but comfortable and clean. Wifi and aircon worked well. Food is average with not much option if you don't want curry. Really nice pool and spa.

Do not respect your booking rate!
They do not respect your booking rate. They charge you a greater amount as taxes (not "included" in your booking), despite the fact that your booking rate includes the room rate and taxes, which are split. They simply overcharged you.

Foreigners are given the most preference.
We had a really pathetic stay at the hotel. We had to leave hotel late night by 2am as we were not treated good by the front desk manager. FDM insulted us and we had to leave. So overall stay at the hotel was pathetic.
