"This villa is toward the east end of Anguilla on the south shore, facing St. Martin--which makes for a great view over the ocean. The villa was clean on arrival and features comfortable beds (one large king in one room, two singles in the other). The kitchen has been recently redone and is bright and airy, part of the big space that includes the living room. There is modern, reasonably quiet AC in both bedrooms and ceiling fans in every room, so it stays reasonably cool. The property is gated, although Anguilla is very safe. The best feature is the deck and pool -- and the great view. The pool is salt water and a uniform depth of about 4 feet (or a little more). It's not technically heated but certainly was a very nice temperature while we were there. There is a washing machine and lots of clothesline space for drying (which is fast in this climate). There's also a BBQ. Plenty of towels, both bath kind and beach kind. And there is a wonderful woman named Joyce who is always available by text and lives about 5 minutes away. The owners are also very responsive and helpful so that communication is always rapid. We would go back in a heartbeat--truly a great place for exploring the island but even great if you just wanted to stay there most of the time. Anguilla is lovely and has the feel of the Caribbean 50 years ago. Staying in the east end is peaceful and quiet but the west end, where the action is, is only a half hour away. A rental car is essential."

"The pool and view from this property was spectacular! I’ve never seen such beautiful sunsets!! The beds were comfortable! The entire house was clean and beautiful. We had everything we needed and more! My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay!"

"The room was very nice and Shoal Bay is a beautiful beach. It is at the end of the beach on Shoal Bay, so it’s a 12-15 minute walk on the beach down to the main restaurants. I would rent a car to stay here because the cost of 4 taxi rides will cover the cost of your car rental. "

"Our family had a great time staying here. Yes, the beds are stiff, and the place has little quirks. But the views are spectacular, the pool is clean, quiet and family-friendly, and the host is responsive. The A/C cools the bedrooms nicely, and the trade winds blow through when you’re not using the A/C, so it stays comfortable. The views from the rooftop deck are phenomenal. We had coffee up there every morning and sunset cocktails at night. The condo is located on the East end of the island, which is quiet and has more of a local feel. The largest and mostLuxurious resorts are on the other end of the island, about a 20-minute drive. But we like the laid-back vibe here. It’s 10-15 minutes drive to some of the most beautiful beaches on the island. And when you get home, it’s quiet and relaxing. You really cannot beat the value-for-money, particularly if you want a pool, a full kitchen AND views. "House was very clean. Host was prompt and excellent at answering any questions we had. House was in close proximity to several grocery stores as well as the most well know beach, Shoal Bay. We rented a car from the manager which worked very well for us. We will probably return the to Anguilla to enjoy the beautiful beaches, the food and the congenial people. Thanks for the use of a 5 star rental."

"It was a great place with a lot of amenities. Pool was nice and the outdoor furniture was very comfy. One thing was even though we had google maps it was a bit difficult to find - it's a bit out of the way but the island is not that big so didn't take to long to get anywhere . There is no TV. I know that we are on vacation but at night it would be nice to have something. We did go into town and buy some dice so maybe some games there would be helpful. The fans helped in the main room but it does get warm. We did open the doors for a cross breeze and that helped. There are wall air conditioners in each bedroom which helped a lot a night.Just fyi the bath products and towels were so luxurious!! Liked having a washer and dryer. I would definitely stay here again. Also great communication with the owner/ property manager"
