It's it's a great location. Everything was good except there were no curtains! We were no able to get restful sleep as the smaller bedroom, as without curtains the room lit up early with sunlight.
Simply wonderful! My husband and I enjoy the property for our anniversary weekend. The view from the deck of the water was spectacular especially the last morning when we decided to have our tea on the deck while playing mah-jongg. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was cozy and warm. The entire interior decor was an escape.
We had a great stay to visit our family over the week of 4th of July. The home is nicely updated with fantastic views of the Esopus creek and the lighthouse. Great location. Very quiet and relaxing. The back porch is a highlight with lots of room, a great grill, lights, and fans. The back wall of doors allows full views to the creek from inside. The yard is nicely landscaped. We had a boat and the dock was perfect for lots of fishing as well. I would definitely stay again.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
Disliked: Communication, listing accuracy
The property itself is stunning—great setup and location. However, my experience with the property manager, Patricia, was deeply disappointing. Prior to booking, I confirmed that kayaks were available and ready to use. Upon arrival, they were filthy and clearly hadn’t been touched in years. Patricia told me to clean them myself, which took hours—on a one-night stay with only a few hours of daylight left upon arrival, this completely undermined the purpose of my visit. When I shared my concerns with Patricia, Patricia was dismissive, rude, and unhelpful. Her lack of professionalism left a sour impression. With better hospitality and communication, this could easily be a five-star property.
