A cabin that disappears into the forest. The exterior of Glass Mirrör Haüs 1 is clad entirely in mirrored glass, so from the outside you see trees; from the inside you get uninterrupted views in every direction and complete privacy. It is the most photographed thing on the property, and the quietest place to sleep.

Built for two. Nothing about this cabin is shared.

THE SPACE
Roughly 250 square feet, designed as a single open room where the walls are the view. Radiant heated tile floors run throughout, so the floor is warm underfoot in February.

SLEEPING
Queen bed made up with premium linens, duvet and pillows, positioned to face the forest. Sleeps 2.

BATHROOM
Private spa-style en-suite with modern fixtures, rainfall shower and premium toiletries.

KITCHEN AND LIVING
Kitchenette with the essentials for coffee, breakfast and light meals, plus a dining table for two. Smart TV and smart speaker. Central air conditioning and heat.

OUTSIDE YOUR DOOR
Your own propane fire pit with two Adirondack chairs, set in the trees. On a clear night the star cover here is the reason people book this cabin twice.

Haüs Windham is a boutique 11-unit retreat on a private 17-acre estate in Windham, New York. Shared guest amenities include a fitness center with cardio equipment and free weights, a sauna, a screening room, high-speed fiber Wi-Fi throughout, generous free parking, and Tesla destination charging.

GOOD TO KNOW
Check-in is contactless. Your keypad code arrives ahead of arrival, so you come and go on your own schedule with no front desk to meet.
Cell service is limited in the Windham area, but we provide high-speed fiber optic Wi-Fi for guests, and Wi-Fi calling works well. The setting is peaceful woodland on an operating estate rather than true wilderness.
This is a compact cabin built for two. If you need a kitchen and separate living space, our Jefferson or Madison suites are a better fit.
