"The apartment was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. There were plenty of towels, and the cozy robes were nice to have. Barbara arranged transfers from the airport and met me at the door when I arrived. There was a large bowl of fresh fruit and welcome pastries. "This property is an absolute gem! Great location, fully equipped kitchen down to the details ie. olive oil, oven mitts, fruit bowl, etc. Douro river 5 min walk, little square nearby with restaurants, cafes, bakery, pasteis de nata, musicians perform at night. Staff attentive and responsive. We have 2 kids and weren’t able to do the wine tours, but the wine institute is two buildings down so we were able to do tasting by the glass there and enjoyed the quick intro.
