The hotel is beautifully designed to take full advantage of its stunning surroundings amongst the vineyards of the Douro Valley, and there are magnificent views from its many expansive terraces and communal areas. A highlight is also its own huge parklands, through which one can stroll all the way down to the river. Our room was very spacious and modern, with all the amenities one expects from a 5-star hotel.
