Don’t believe the pictures; the air conditioned comfort penthouse advertised does not have windows in the walls of the apartment, and was barely ‘indoors’ much less ‘air conditioned’. "Staff and owner are AMAZING! Best customer service anywhere on our 18 day trip. Breakfast was FANTASTIC, location looks odd but is in a perfect spot just off the square. Police presence 24 hrs a day every 2 blocks. Very safe. Exchanged dollars for Reals at the hotel and they gave a very fair rate. Love this place! "

"Great hotel. Right at beach front and restaurants and shops and very safe. The room was clean and house keeping was very accessible and helpful. However you should really, really, really invest on purchasing mattress sheets with the elastic bands the grab the mattress. What is up with using regular sheets on the mattress?? Have of the time, after a few tosses and turns during the night, one ends up sleeping on the bare mattress. Thank goodness it was clean. Nevertheless, it was still gross. "
"AC was leaking all over the wall and the floor. They sent someone to fix it but it was leaking during my whole stay. They did offer to change my room but I was already settled in and said no.
They did make the bed and change the towels every day. Breakfast was lackluster but included with the stay.
Other guests were extremely noisy when walking up and down the stairs, especially the kids who were vocally loud as well while running up and down the stairs. "
