"If you are looking for a boutique hotel with all the charms then this is it! Situated in the core of Chengdu's older neighborhood you'll get a modern interior with comfortable beds, remote controlled curtains and a rain shower! The staff speak English which is a plus and are super friendly and helpful. They helped me organize my trip to the panda center and to an evening opera show. The candies and treats in the room are also a yummy touch!"

"This was the best hotel experience I’ve had probably ever and I’ve traveled to 70 countries. I never got such personal service. They treated me like a queen answered every question through WeChat connected me to entertainment, shopping, whatever I wanted, brought me tea to my room. The location was great, right near an absolutely gorgeous Buddhist temple I am absolutely blown away by the level of courtesy and friendliness and service that I received. I think hotels in America should learn from them. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Trip I left my favorite jacket in the room and headed to the airport. They not only contacted me and told me and sent me a photo of it, but they sent a second taxi to the airport to deliver the jacket to me in a plastic bag wow!!"

"We loved our stay at the Buddhazen hotel. It is situated in a charming square set away from the street and hence very quiet. There were many restaurants and shops around. It was easy to walk everywhere including kuanzhai Alley and renmin park. Our room was fantastic. It had a sitting area, a separate bedroom space as well as a balcony. Hotel staff were very kind and helpful. B’fast was very good. The downstairs sitting area is also beautifully appointed"

"ChanYin is a small gem of a hotel in Chengdu! The aethetics are so delicate and exquisite! The staff are all very nice and friendly, though their lack of English was a stumbling block, even with GoogleTranslate. A real oasis in the vast blandness of Chengdu city. "
