Magical Destination

The cottage was beautiful, well maintained and well appointed. Charming location with beautiful views and easy drive into Santa Ynez, Los Olivos and state beaches.

Fantastic Vacation Stay!

This cottage is the perfect base camp to get to all the local sights by day and to recharge at night. Super cute, clean, and well equipped, it's exactly what the host says it is. Definitely will be staying here again!

Quiet country getaway

Melani was great to work with, very prompt in our communications and she provided great detail on the location of their cottage and all pertinent information for our trip. Location is lovely, very quiet place in the country. Would recommend this place for anyone interested in visiting wine country or just some time to relax and enjoy the quiet serenity of the countryside.

Tranquility in the country

We were comfortable at the cottage. Very quiet and in the country. However, close to Santa Ynez, Solvang and Los Olivos. Nice note and fresh cookies to welcome us.

Fantastic Getaway!

Melani is awesome to work with and was so kind to check on me after a big storm had rolled through the night before. Truly a beautiful little cottage with plenty of privacy and appropriate accommodations. I will definitely be back!

Quintessential wine country

Everything was exactly as expected in the unit and the hosts were incredibly welcoming and friendly. We shared a glass of wine with them and even came away with some farm fresh eggs. Delightful!

There were 4 of us mid aged adults. Greeted with cookies and wine. Cottage clean and cozy. Property is beautiful and serene, just what we needed. Property managers readily available and friendly. Check in and out process easy. Love being greeted by one of their dogs and loved the sounds of the country.

Wonderful and relaxing get away stay

Our stay at the cottage was wonderful! My sister and I have 3 suggestions to make this place even more wonderful! 1. New updated coffee pot - coffee takes too long to brew. 2. New larger updated TV - Guests would enjoy having a smart TV for access to their netflix, prime, etc. 3. Picnic table area could be cleaned up and more inviting. Overall, property and area is so enjoyable.

Incredibly beautiful property

We were blissed out pretty much the entire time. Santa Ynez and the 4 other towns making up the Santa Ynez Valley are all close together and short drives from this cottage. With so much to discover, it would be difficult not to have a fabulous time, but talking to Melani added many details which helped greatly in getting oriented. Generally I don't stay in the same property or hotel more than once because I crave new experiences, but this one is an exception - we can't wait to go back.

A home on the range

This cozy cottage checked off all the boxes on our list and then some. In a beautiful and private part of town. Perfect for our family to enjoy some down time and nature. The guest house itself was great. Enjoyed daily walks, a few bike rides, and some outdoor time on the property. Couldn't have had better hosts. Went out of their way to make us feel very welcome, and great communication when we needed it. We really enjoyed our stay. Our daughter really had fun interacting with the animals, and giving them some treats...I think they liked it too. We left feeling relaxed, and recharged, which is exactly what we came for.

Not as Expected

Gave 4 stars but more like 3.5. The place was listed with a washer and dryer. They neglected to say it was in an outside carport that was dirty with abundant cobwebs and bird droppings. The tops of the appliances were dirty as well plus no lighting, so washing after 6 pm (November) was a challenge. Windows throughout were in need of a cleaning and the outside furniture was not clean as well. The VRBO site also talked about the abundance of different domestic animals we would encounter including the hosts two Labradors adding to the expectations we were told about. Sans animals. Nice location for easy trips into Los Olivos, Solvang, etc.

The perfect getaway

Lovely ranch cottage

We were looking for more of a ranch experience and loved staying here. It was so beautifully quiet at night. The cottage was comfortable and was a great home base for the things we did around the area. Melani was easy to reach when needed and was very helpful and kind. We will definitely be back here again.

LOVELY!

Off the beaten path and yet close to everything! Melani was a wonderful host and provided a notebook with suggestions for things to do and places to eat. We enjoyed the pastries in Solvang, wine tasting at Roblar, hiking Grass Mountain and exploring the area on foot and by car. The cottage was cute, clean and very comfortable for three of us. Nice outdoor area to enjoy morning coffee or evening wine. Simply lovely!!
