Was a super fun stay with the pool bar, fun pool and bocce court. The rooms were redone and mostly great. The only thing was the beds hurt our back. We bought our fan line ususal, but without that it may have been a little noisy.

The room was fine—nothing special/nothing bad. The front office staff members were distant and didn’t offer any information about the property, where things were located (ice machines, pool, exercise room, coffee in the morning) or provide a map of the property. The pool area is a plus-clean and picked up. But, since the pool bar& lounge are open so few hours, it’s hardly worth mentioning in their listing.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Sandman Hotel. The rooms were very clean and I liked the Californian new age look of the rooms. Everything felt really clean which is a huge. The shower water had great pressure and hot water came fast. The room felt pretty spacious and the bed and pillows were comfortable. Our room had both a microwave and a fridge which was a huge plus. You can clearly tell the hotel was just newly re-done. Amenities - they have a pool, jacuzzi, and a fun area to hangout. The pool stays open until 10pm which is a huge plus as most hotels close early. Dogs are allowed! Cons: There are only two floors in the hotel and we stayed on the bottom floor, it did get a little noisy at night as we could clearly hear everyone coming and going. They don't have daily room cleaning and we have to let them know in advance if we want the room cleaned. The location isn't the best and there isn't too much happening in the neighborhood but if you have a car it is pretty central to a lot of the wineries and things you would want to do in Santa Rosa. It's also only a 10 minute drive from downtown Santa Rosa.
