Beachfront Tommy Bahama Unit!

This beautiful Gulf-front complex has everything you and your family need for the perfect vacation destination. We have implemented additional cleaning and sanitizing due to COVID 19 to keep our guests safe. Please do the same with social distancing while on the property.
Blue Lupine Inn at Blue Mountain Beach is centrally located just one block south of Scenic Highway 30A approximately 20 minutes east of Destin and 20 minutes west of Panama City Beach.

Blue Lupine Inn, previously known as The Blue Lupine Mountain Inn, is a very quiet 48 unit complex nestled between two non-rental subdivisions. Blue Mountain is just a few minutes drive east to Seaside, Watercolor, and Grayton Beach. We are also located close to Baytowne Wharf, Silver Sands Outlet Mall, Destin Commons, and the new Pier Park shopping and dining complex in Panama City Beach. This offers a grand variety of shopping, dining, and recreation to choose from for everyone in the family.
The interior of the building has been completely renovated in 2019 with updated decor, new elevators and updated flooring throughout.

Our 4th floor (#423), three-bedroom, the three-bath condo has a great tropical feel 'Tommy Bahama' style and is beautifully decorated for your comfort. The rental fee includes, for the first time, a 2 chair & 1 umbrella/table beach setup. Additional beach setups may be rented directly on the beach. Also, for the first time, Guests may be able to hire a bonfire set up right at the beach.
The unit boasts 1650 square feet of living area in addition to a 400 square foot balcony with great Gulf views. This is the perfect floor plan with a large living, dining, and kitchen area for entertaining the entire group, and still offers privacy to the bedroom areas with a split bedroom design. The master suite has a private balcony, jacuzzi bath with double vanities, and a walk-in shower. The other two bedrooms are located on the opposite side of the unit with the queen bedroom having sliding door access to the main balcony with views and a private bath. The 3rd bedroom has twin beds and hall bathroom access. All bedrooms and living room have TV/DVD players and ceiling fans. The private balcony is the perfect place to enjoy dining, relaxing with a good book, or experiencing the breathtaking sunsets.

The building of Blue Lupine offers many amenities including elevators located at each end of the complex for easy access from the main glass-enclosed lobby, and the gated garage area, high-speed wireless internet service available throughout the building, a fully equipped exercise gym located on the 3rd floor, and a large Gulf front heated community pool and hot tub are situated on the bluff overlooking the beaches. Also, there are 2 community gas grills available to owners and guests located just outside of the glass-enclosed lobby. Each condo entrance accesses the individual condos from the interior 50' atrium which is tropically landscaped and decorated. There is on-site security during the high traffic season, and on-site maintenance is available for emergencies throughout the year from Tuesday through Saturday with hours being 7 AM to 3 PM. Also, there are additional beach chairs and umbrella setups available at the beach for rent during the season.

Most of all, take time to relax and enjoy the ambiance of the area. Scenic Highway 30A parallels 18 miles of paved bike path that encourages you and your family to explore the many unique beach communities along the way. Bring your own bikes or take advantage of the bike rental shops in the area. The Beaches of South Walton have beautiful sugar-white sandy beaches, emerald green waters, and rare coastal dune lakes which have made us the desirable vacation paradise we are famous for today.

Our family found this condo to be comfortable, very livable, lots of room, and have sweet views. The location is the perfect combination of 'out of the way' and 'close to things to do'. The owner is very helpful and a joy. On our next vacation to 30-A, we'll be staying here again!

This was our second year in this condo and we really enjoyed the property again. Anneliese was very accommodating and we felt very at home. The beaches were great and so are all of the people. Looking forward to staying here again.

We really enjoyed our stay in this condo. They thought of everything to make our stay easy and comfortable. The location is great, between individual homes so the beach is not super crowded (as can be seen just a little bit east on the beach)! The pool, the common areas, the storage area with all the extras (floats, chairs, toys, boards, umbrellas) were all top notch and well cared for! The unit itself was so clean and sooo comfortable. The Blue Mountain Beach area might have just earned visitors for life! We just loved our whole experience!

This condo has a great view and we loved the large balcony! It is on the top floor of this 4 story complex, so you can see over the houses in the neighborhood next door. With only 48 units, the pool and beach area were not overly crowded - even the last week of June! Will definitely stay here again.

We’ve stayed all over the gulf and this unit stands out as our favorite. The unit is very spacious, comfortable and clean. The unit has a bathroom for each bedroom. The building has an on-site gym and 24 hour security. The location is very convenient to our favorite restaurants. The host is very responsive and easy to work with.

From booking to stay everything was easy. The location is fabulous. The condo is very nice and spacious. Nicely decorated. Well built that you don’t hear all the noise from the hallways. The kitchen has good stock and actually has many spices and seasonings available.

Our family stayed at this beautiful condo.The Condo itself was very nice, well maintained, and well stocked and plenty large enough for all 7 of us. The east and west views of the beach from the balcony were incredible. The beach chair rentals were easy and we even rented a kayak. We had a great vacation Thank you for sharing your condo.

We spent a great family vacation/July 4th celebration at this condo. It more than accommodated our family of 4 adults and 2 children. There was a small issue with our building access code when we arrived but was resolved within 10 minutes. Communication with the owner was excellent. The condo had everything we needed needed and the complimentary beach chairs and umbrella were a definite plus. The condo and property very clean and had great security. We hope to return next year.

We enjoyed a wonderful weekend at this property this past weekend. In addition to the condo being absolutely beautiful, it is in a great location and the building has everything you could ask for. The owner was very easy to work with and answered all of the questions I had prior to our stay. The beds were very comfortable and the sheets and towels were very rich and luxurious! The kitchen is large with everything we needed to cook almost all of our meals easily. The view from the balcony is amazing. You can see the ocean change throughout the day and enjoy beautiful sunsets. A wonderful, wonderful get away for us. We will be back!

The home equipped with everything you need (one of the best we’ve rented)! Manager was prompt to respond to questions. (We had an air conditioning issue and the owner had a new unit installed as soon as she could.). Beach and pool were great and the location is close to many others things to do. We did kayaking, paddle boarding and rented a pontoon for extra fun. The fitness facility was top notch. I also noted that the other people in the complex were SO friendly - owners and renters. If the “virus” had not limited our last week of activity we would have done more.

We just returned from Spring Break at the Blue Lupine and had a wonderful time. The weather didn't cooperate entirely but that can be expected in April. The condo was spacious and clean and the view and sounds of the ocean from the family room and master bath were priceless. The family room looks narrow from the on-line piuctures but was a good size and seven of us were comfortable lounging there. The bunk room was great for two teenage girls and all the bedrooms were good sized wth comfortable beds. The condo is located off 30A but was off the beaten path while close enough to Destin or Panama City Beach, very nice. Anneliese could not have been more responsive and accommodating to our questions and it was a pleasure dealing with someone so professional. Thank you for sharing your home away from home with us. We certainly hope to be back.

We enjoyed our stay and would return! The condo was lovely and had everything needed, including a Keurig. We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evening. Even though this condo unit is not right on the beach, we could hear the waves and see some of the ocean. We were pleased that chairs & umbrellas could easily be rented and reserved for each day. The only downsides were poor phone coverage in & around the building, as well as a crowded beach. The condo complex is located directly next to a neighborhood of large homes; 15 or so are beachfront. The beach in front of those homes is marked private and was practically empty. Meanwhile, chairs were packed at least three rows deep in front of our condo complex. While we understand beaches can be designated as private by Florida law, it seemed silly that so much nearby beach was unused while we were crammed into a much smaller area.

This unit is very large and a has a great view of the ocean. The pictures on VRBO are all exact (date stamped 2012) and everything was still the same, which kind of grossed me out. We ended up stripping the beds, except for the bunk bed bedding, which looked new and updated. The unit seems very cluttered with fake plants and furniture that is too big and very worn, ripped, faded etc. The unit was pretty dirty too. Things like vents, fans, corners, doors, and bath mats. It just didn't fit my standard of cleanliness- which I would consider "normal." Light bulbs were burnt out and batteries were missing from the DVD remote. I have contacted the owner about all of these issues and she replied that most things will be addressed, but that was it. I would LOVE to stay in this particular unit again if most of the issues were addressed, but based on the response I got from the owner, I am not sure that will happen. The owner was prompt with booking questions and arrival questions, but not so responsive in regards to the complaints. The condo itself makes for a very easy vacation and the unit has a great view of the ocean and is a spacious layout.
