Unique charming and cozy slightly funky historic cottage just 3 blocks from the beach and the Santa Cruz Yacht Harbor. Airy and light studio with queen bed, plus queen sleeper sofa. Spanish tile floors, French doors, white wood shutters, sunny deck, side patio, BBQ, beach towels. Two bathrooms - second bath has an outdoor shower. New washer/dryer. Wireless internet, smart TV. Off-street parking.

Built in the 1920's and originally the neighborhood library!

Marcy’s charming little cottage is in the perfect location for us. We love the Twin Lakes Beach area with excellent coffee shop and places to eat within easy walking distance. Communication with Marcy was great and we really enjoyed our stay.

Perfectly located vacation rental.

This rental is in the perfect location, a short walk down to the harbor and the Crow’s Nest, a quick drive to Capitola and the boardwalk. It was the perfect size rental for us and the dog. We would definitely recommend this cottage to any couple looking for a beach getaway.

Best rental and location!

We absolutely ADORED this home! The history and charm were the icing on the cake. The location- walking distance to the beach and restaurants and beach shop was PERFECT. We will be staying here again. It was so beautiful and clean inside, too. I appreciated what the house once was and now as the perfect getaway gem!!!

Charming cottage near the beach

The cottage used to be the public library and is very charming with pleasant outdoor patios. It is conveniently located and well designed. Everything I needed was in the cottage. Great base for a wonderful beach vacation near the marina.

The perfect cozy weekend get-a-way!

Have to say this was a much need family get-a-way we all needed and it was perfect! The house was ADORABLE. We played cards, walked to the ocean, crows nest, coffee shops, small grocery store and just enjoyed everything about it! Owner was super responsive, friendly and easy to communicate with from beginning to end. We would love to find time to go again!!

Adorable Cottage!

This is a great place to stay to experience the beach life in Santa Cruz! Just a few blocks from the ocean, this cozy cottage is a delight. It has great outdoor spaces for reading or chatting with friends. Deke’s is just across the street if you need a filling and delicious sandwich, a soda, or a bottle of wine.

Cottage Getaway by the Sea

My adult children and I spent a wonderful weekend at theLovely, comfortable, full of sunshine cottage. I loved the history of the cottage, have been going to Santa Cruz all my life. The last ten years have made a tradition to celebrate my birthday there…it’s only 3 blocks from the ocean, the Lighthouse is there, small shops, great coffee.All the scenic views the ocean brings, friendly people, and the peaceful atmosphere. I didnt want to leave the cottage because it was like being at home. The three of us never turned on the TV, we just enjoyed the great family time together.Yes, I totally recommend the Cottage and look forward to returning soon..

Nice rental

The house is cute, but needs some updating and a good scrubbing. Location is good - just a few blocks from the beach - but it's on a very busy street, so you'll need earplugs if you're sensitive to noise. It's perfect if you're mostly out and about.

Twin Lakes Beach family getaway

This is our second stay at this property, it is just delightful and close to all family members whom we visit at holiday times. It fits us and our daughter and her dog, such a bonus. Well located and charming. Everything we need and more. This time we noticed it says there’s a hot tub - we were like, oh, did they add that?? Would be awesome but not a hot tub in sight. We didn’t miss it! 😊 Thanks again 👍

Cute, great location

The location is great - walking distance to Twin Lakes Beach and the Marina. Space is really a large studio, there's no separate bedroom though the spaces are cleverly arranged and comfortable for two. Parking was on the street (which can be a challenge) or in a very very small driveway (my small sedan just fit). Bed super comfy. Could use a deep cleaning outside to clear off sky lights, windows, etc. Great communication with owner and she let us arrive early and check out late.

Love the state California

It was my first time visiting Santa Cruz California. So much to do. We had a wonderful time here. The beach was so beautiful and sunny out here as well. The weather is just amazing. However the little cottage was really nice and felt like home. Just a few little dilemmas. The host was really nice and made sure we were comfortable. If she couldn’t fix a problem right away she will find a way for us to enjoy our vacation if anything. We will be coming back to Santa Cruz California again. Thank you!!
