"La Casa del Mundo is a beautiful and unique place, but I strongly recommend planning the arrival carefully if you are driving. The hotel is only accessible by boat, so drive to Panajachel first, park there, and take a boat from Muelle Tzanjuyú directly to the hotel.[lacasadelmundo] Waze sent us toward Santa Cruz La Laguna, which was a bad experience—the road did not feel safe, and after all that driving, you still have to take a boat to reach La Casa del Mundo. Save yourself the trouble: go straight to Panajachel and take the boat from there."

"We had a great time at this hotel. It was welcoming and secure. The staff was nice and helpful. Location is great! The restaurants we tasteful and the bar had great drinks. Over all it was a great stay. One thing I can say is that the beds are hard for sleeping but I guess that's would be based on preference. We still enjoys this hotel very much. I would recommend 😊"
