"Misleading information on website. This was NOT a wheelchair accessible room as the shower was a step over cubicle and no handrails or equipment around the toilet area. To access the ‘disabled’ toilet off the dining room area you would have to negotiate a 10” step up and then down a 6” step. Again no rails or toilet equipment. Staff were extremely helpful and couldn’t do enough. The lovely receptionist was very apologetic and sourced us another hotel locally which had a wheelchair accessible...
"Nei dintorni di santa cesarea, l'aia di San Giorgio offre semplicità e tranquillità in una atmosfera fuori dal comune.
Anche la cucina semplice e naturale si lascia apprezzare con gioia.
Vale la pena fermarsie gioire del tempo"

Villa Raffaella
10/10 Excellent
"This was one of my favorite places in Puglia! The lady at the front desk was so welcoming and warm. The room was gorgeous as well as the grounds. The breakfast was spectacular… it had everything including very freshly cut up fruit. The cappuccino machine made amazing coffee. The location was walkable to everything. She recommend a restaurant for dinner with fabulous views and was only a 5 minute walk. This was a very last minute booking and was a very good value. I will definitely return. "
"Staff were very friendly and helpful ; in particular the lady who checked us in on arrival. The food was very good - we dined there in the 2 evenings we stayed & choices were good. I must comment on the plentiful selection of choices available at breakfast which included local specialities - delicious. The rooftop area with loungers of various types was lovely. We had a sea view room which was spacious and comfortable . Nice area to stay to visit here and other places on the coast down to Santa Maria de Leuca & inland."

The swimming pool itself was absolutely filthy and the photos shown on the website must have been taken when this hotel was first built as there were no palm trees in the website photographs - yet in reality there were quite a few that are now more than 60ft tall. "
"It was absolutely gorgeous. Was our third trip to the Puglia area, and to discover a place like this … lovely, modern and with immaculate pools was such a treat.
Yes the pool is a few minutes walk from the main hotel, but isn’t that sometimes the case with big complexes? And if you don’t want to walk, a shuttle is available. The pool and shuttle are both included, so no extra cost. Lovely selection of drinks at breakfast, aswell as cereals, pastries and a bit of an Italian spread.
The balcony was huge, gorgeous view of the sea with lovely furniture.
Our apartment was 2 bed, so no having to set up a bed in the living space.
The reception staff spoke great English and helped us discover local places we wanted to visit.
We honestly loved this hotel, it was the perfect end to a multi stay break."
