The atmosphere in the hotel was very friendly and calm, the absolute highlight being the owners/reception staff that always greeted us with a smile and advice on where to spend our days around Castro such as where the best beach could be found. "Aangekomen bij de accomodatie, werden we fijn ontvangen, drinken aangeboden en na een heerlijke espresso naar onze kamer gebracht. Een prima kamer, heel schoon. Wel wat hard bed, en een comfortabele stoel zou wel fijn zijn. Wij waren de enige gasten toen we er waren, dus heerlijk rustig. Het restaurant is heel goed! Heerlijk gegeten! Ook kwam de gastvrouw nog met een leuke tip om een olijfolie-boer te bezoeken. Ook een aanrader!"

"Irene Is awesome! The hotel is lovely, everything was built with love, till the last small detail. Very quiet area, great as a base to visit the area around town and go to the beach. Breakfast is incredible, the beds are very comfortable and Irene is always great at recommending place to visit. If we visit puglia again we will definitely stay again at La Filanda"
