Hotel is clean and somewhat quiet during the weekdays. Weekends is pretty loud due to being located in a busy area and bar scene at night.

The staff was amazing and the room was clean. Only issue was the smell of urine outside the front door.

It's hard to find the driveway for the property but after that the hotel is close to all the area attractions. We walked everywhere. This is a quaint hotel with a friendly staff. The only drawback was the small shower.

The hotel is so lovely, I really enjoy smaller hotels with personality and vintage style, fabric headboards, crown molding, beautiful tile. It is under a bit of construction and our room overlooked the scaffold and parking lot which was a bummer. The staff is very accommodating and thoughtful - they agreed to switch our rooms, and sent me a bottle of wine and chocolates for my birthday! I loved being able to walk out o to the Main Street for shopping and dining. I will stay in this hotel again.

Lovely property in the centre, close to all amenities. Room was big and clean. Mini bar provided which was reasonable. Complimentary tea and coffee AM and cookies PM. Staff very friendly. Would stay here again.

Beautiful property! Very friendly and professional front desk staff. Hotel parking lot entrance may be hard to spot but once in parking attendant was very friendly. Love the location for shopping and dining!

Every thing is good, except there’s no self parking. Valet parking is unnecessary and inconvenient, as the parking lot is just across the street.

Convenient location and comfortable beds however shower wall had several hairs housekeeping obviously didn’t clean adequately. Second time staying here but will probably pick another hotel next time.

Absolutely excellent location of this beautiful hotel Room, lobby, hallways were impeccable. Right on the main shopping and dinning street in SB. 10 minute walk to the beach. Excellent dinning options. The classic Spanish style building is gorgeous and although they are remodeling the rooms it’s unlikely you will see or hear anything. The place is impeccable. The staff is courteous and professional.

Under construction, homeless bums on the sidewalk, mandatory $30parking , ancient slow elevator, no pool, worst Starbucks in the world is down the block but it has no tables or chairs or bathrooms and stinks. Hotel has zero charm. Certainly not the four stars it claims on line. Shower is ridiculous and mold behind the bathroom faucet.

This is a charming hotel along a pedestrian mall in downtown Santa Barbara. The hotel is currently undergoing some renovations, but they did not detract from the property. There are free beverages in the lobby, high quality personal care products in the rooms, and many fine details in the interior and architecture that reflect this building’s age.

great location -- easy to access beach as well as State Street shopping. It is the place to be if you like late-night clubbing. Standard room somewhat cramped, but nicely appointed.

Great classic hotel with a lot of charm and history. Very clean and all amenities up to date. Right in the middle of all the restaurants on state street. Staff very friendly.

Nice location in the midst of all the State Street action. When you step into the hotel lobby, you are immediately separated from all the noise on the street.

Centrally located on State street, walkable to variety of dining, options, shopping and entertainment. Rooms have a very comfortable bed, good temperature, clean, a hot water kettle for pour over coffee, refrigerator, safe and a selection of snacks and drinks for purchase. Parking as in every downtown situation is difficult on the street, but they have a valet option.

Hotel Santa Barbara is in an excellent location off of state st where all the shopping and restaurants are. The staff, hotel and service were all the best! You couldn't ask for much more!

The front desk staff were incredibly accommodating and thoughtful. The hotel is perfectly situated. The beds were super comfy, lots of fluffy towels and good coffee in am, cookies in afternoon. Would stay there again!
