"A wonderful stay in a fascinating town. Our room was spacious, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast varied daily with fresh fruit, cold meats and cheese and a great range of breads, cakes and biscuits made by Lia. Home made jams too, including cumquat - what a treat! There is a sunny terrace on the top floor that is ideal for relaxing after a busy day sightseeing. We would love to return to this haven."

"This is a gem in the country.unique 1800 mansion . Superior cleanliness.Paola is the perfect host.cooks your breakfast every day! "We arrived early and could check in. Used pool and jacuzzi overlooking Perugia. Lovely and relaxing at the end of the trip. First impressions of this ancient castle did not disappoint. "The house and location are perfect for a family holiday, the pool is lovely and there are plenty of covered areas in the garden in which to relax when the sun gets too hot! The proprietors are very accommodating and fixed any issues (washing machine failed during our stay) immediately. The only thing to be aware of is that the region near the lake does suffer from mosquitoes which come out in the evening - so take repellent with you as it’s expensive in Italy!"
