"This place was fantastic. The views were spectacular and the staff was wonderful. So easy to get to the ferries for day trip!"

"Overall staff was good and breakfast was good. We were really disappointed because they advertise a pool side “cave bar” on their listing and we weren’t informed that it would be closed for the season. This was a huge reason we booked this hotel and I wish we would’ve been made aware that this would t be available. The rooms didn’t include basic amenities such as hair conditioner and body lotion - which i thought was odd because many people rely on these types of products to be at their hotel when traveling. The shuttle to and from amalfi central are very convenient, but fill up so fast you have to know your plans 24 hours in advance within a 30 minute time window and book them all at least the day before to guarantee a spot during popular hours (morning, lunch, and dinner). The hotel restaurant was also very meh for the price - you’re basically paying for the convenience of eating in your hotel with a nice view. The menu is limited and the food was not very good. Overall - the views of Amalfi are absolutely incredible and if the things mentioned above aren’t important, this hotel is great! Just not the best experience for us personally."

"Great hotel with super helpful staff. The pool is fantastic and you can’t beat the views. Make sure you head down past the pool on the right to sit in the swing that’s underneath heart shaped vines and look out over the bay. The staff was awesome and helped us arrange transport to the hotel and a last minute transfer all the way the Napoli airport. We will be staying here again when we bring the kids back in 2 years."

"Check-in was excellent. There was a crowd of folks(a tour group) occupying the lobby. We could barely enter. The person behind the counter recognized it immediately and motioned for us to approach and check in. Leaving was another story. While they'll call you a cab, they don't have doorman service like most first rate hotels. This is a uniformed person that flags the cab, directs him where to stop then assists you to it. We were on our own, couldn't locate the guy, crossed the 6 lane street 3x and finally jumped into another cab. The room was very nice. The only downside was the shower stall. It was really TINY. Was like a travel trailer. We are not big people. If you are, it is a definite consideration."

"The Grand Hotel Aminta was a great base for our recent trip to the Amalfi coast. High up on the hill, it overlooks Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples and downtown Sorrento with breathtaking views. Their shuttle into town was very useful and accommodating to our needs. Breakfast buffet included daily. The entire staff is amazing. Special kudos to Rosella at the front desk, Ernesto, Dennis and Pietro in the restaurant. We had a lot of delicious meals there. It was really hard to leave such a beautiful place. Hope to return again."

"This hotel is absolutely amazing. The staff was extraordinary. Their names were Angela Giuseppi the two bartenders. They made us a master class of drinks…. Andra was very helpful also …. I will say the whole entire staff goes over and beyond and the hotel itself is absolutely wonderful. Absolutely impeccable.. we will definitely be back this hotel is like being in a dream movie lol thank you very much."

"The hotel is located on Garibaldi square near the train/subway station and only 15 minute taxi ride to the airport. It was a beautiful, spacious hotel and had a wonderful restaurant on the roof top where we ate a few times. We had a room facing the square and it blocked out all the street noise and light. The room itself was probably newly renovated with nice bathrooms and wood floors. We were jet lagged so didn't have the energy to see Naples and our primary goal was to visit Pompeii, Herculaneum and Sorrento. I would highly recommend staying here."
