THE SPACE
This coastal boutique two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo features a spacious living area with an oversized sectional, designer furniture, and a large Smart TV. The fully equipped open kitchen with stainless steel appliances overlooks the main living space, while the dining area accommodates meals at the table or bar, complete with a space to mix an afternoon cocktail. The serene master suite offers a king bed, private ensuite bathroom, and ample closet space. The guest bedroom and bath provide a private palm oasis. The enclosed lanai includes a casual seating area and a bistro table perfect for morning coffee. Lanai has partial gulf and pool views.

THE PROPERTY
Loggerhead Cay is a well-maintained beachfront complex on the easily accessible east end of the island, just minutes from the Causeway. The property offers one of the largest heated pools on the island, tennis and pickleball courts, shuffleboard, private beach access, BBQ grills, and elevator access.

THE ISLAND
Sanibel Island is about 25 miles from Fort Myers Airport and feels secluded with its pristine coastline. Renowned as one of the world’s top shelling destinations, the island also offers miles of bike paths, nature preserves, and outdoor adventures.

THE EXTRAS
High-speed WiFi, three Smart TVs, a full-size washer and dryer, and quality linens are included, along with everything you need for a beach day, including chairs, umbrellas, towels, sand toys, and a beach wagon.

Great Property

This property is great location on the island. Nice pool Great access to beach. Was very clean and well appointed and supplied. Loved the lanai. Would definitely recommend and definitely will stay again. Owners communicated quickly and very effectively and efficiently.

The Cocohut Sanibel family get away

Great Condo

Our stay was very comfortable! Beds were great, kitchen was well stocked and there were lots of chairs and beach items in the storage locker. We had a great stay and would definitely stay here again!❤️

We enjoyed our time on Sanibel. The condo was clean, bright and well furnished. Beds were comfy, kitchen well equipped and right near the beach. We would definitely book this property again when coming back!

Luxury at Loggerhead Cay

Superhost Tara was the best. The condo was beautiful, well-furnished and with a great ocean view. There were even beach chairs, pickleball paddles and balls, and a heated pool. Great winter getaway.

Fantastic stay in a beautiful place

We had a great stay at Cocohut. It was light, bright and super comfy. We loved the lanai and relaxing in the unit. We also love to cook, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Location is perfect with great shelling right on our beach.

Great for families

We stayed 6 nights over our teenage sons Spring Break. It was nice to be surrounded by so many families and to see Sanibel coming back to life. The condo had very comfortable beds, pillows and sofa. Cute decor. Nice kitchen to cook a few meals in. We'd go back again!

We had the best vacation! Our unit was amazing. It was so clean, beautifully decorated, comfy beds, great communication with the owners and it had everything you could possibly need. Perfect stay!

This unit was perfect for our family! It was as advertised, beautiful and clean! The unit is close to the pool and the beach. Sanibel is not completely open, but we really enjoyed our time there. The house were very responsive questions!

Beautiful Saniel Vacation

We have been vacationing on Sanibel for 10 years. This is our first time at the beautiful Loggerhead Cay property named Cocohut. Perfectly described and pictured as shown, very clean and in excellent condition very well equipped with everything you could image, the grounds and pool were amazing. Our hosts Tara and Mike were always so responsive and accommodating. We could not recommend the Cocohut more and cannot wait to return soon. .

Paradise

We have been vacationing at Loggerhead Cay for many years. The Cocohut was the cleanest and most complete condo we have rented to date. Everything you need for a wonderful Sanibel vacation is provided. Location on the property is perfect, close to pool and steps to the ocean. Recovery on the island from hurricane Ian continues with many good restaurants now open along with completely open bike paths. Looking to return again next year!!

Perfect Beach Getaway

If I could give this property 6 out of 5 stars, I would! Our family has been visiting Sanibel for 20+ years and have stayed at Loggerhead Cay on most all trips. This is by far the most well-equipped, updated, comfortable condo we have ever stayed in. It fit four of us with room to spare and had everything we needed, including a fully stocked kitchen. Having access to a separate storage unit with plenty of beach chairs, an umbrella, and wagon was an extra bonus. To top everything off, Tara and Mike were always so responsive and accommodating. We could not recommend the Cocohut more and cannot wait to return soon.

Great location

Property was clean and pretty. Location is great. Close to everything and easy walk to the beach. Shelling was so good at the beach by the condo we didn’t venture to other beaches on the island! Minor things… Guest bath could use a couple more hooks for towels and shelves for supplies. Shower doors leaked but worked with mat on floor. Master bedroom would be nice if ceiling fan was added. Some area rugs were bulky and had wrinkles. Overall a great place to stay.

Wonderful place!

We had a wonderful family trip to Sanibel over the holidays. The condo was beautiful, spacious, clean, and comfortable for our family of 6. A couple of the days were cool and rainy, but we really didn't mind. We were happy to spend a little time together indoors. The oversized sectional couch made it easy for us to hang out together comfortably. We also enjoyed using the heated pool, even on days that were a bit chilly. The beach was just a short walk from the condo. It really wasn't crowded at all and was the perfect spot for shelling. We rented bikes for the week and had a great time biking to shops, to get ice cream, and out to Lighthouse Beach. We would love to visit again!

Amazing

The Cochin was everything and more. Had everything you want or need for a short or long stay. Having towels linens was such a treat.! Paper towels soap for kitchen and laundry all little things but made life easier this trip. The location and property were perfect. So close to beach shelled every day and night. Beach was not crowded which was nice. After not seeing Sanibel for 4 + years it was wonderful to return. Tara and Mike were amazing communicators never had to wait to hear back. I could go on and on. If your looking for a lovely condo on Sanibel - Cocohut is it!

Lovely condo in a great location!

We loved staying at the Cocohut! It was a perfect size for our family of four. The kitchen had everything we needed, towels were plush, and the sheets were so soft! In the storage shed, there were plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas for our use. I noticed a beach cart, skim board, and sand toys, as well, although we did not use those. The best part was the screened in lanai. It was the perfect spot for an early morning cup of coffee.Loggerhead Cay, where the condominium is located, does an amazing job of making the grounds look pristine and lush. We saw staff every day working to ensure everything was perfect, including the large pool with plenty of seating and umbrellas.The condo is in a great location to the beach. It only took us a few minutes to walk there every day. There’s plenty of room to spread out and it’s not overcrowded at all.Finally, the hosts were extremely helpful, friendly, and quick to reply any questions we had. There was a short disruption in the cable service while we were there, and although it was out of their hands, they were extremely apologetic and quick to take action to get it fixed.Highly recommend The Cocohut! You will not be disappointed!!!

Excellent Stay

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It was incredibly close walking distance to the beach, and everything we needed was provided (beach chairs, umbrellas, etc.) The condo itself was very clean and had a view of the ocean from the lanai. Great communication with the owners as well. Would definitely stay here again!
