"While the location is beautiful and very close to many attractions in the park, the lodge itself was very disorganized. On multiple occasions, breakfast and dinner both took longer than one hour, with basic foods ordered. The hosts and wait staff seemed like they were still in training and they kept losing track of tables and orders. The only group who was responsive was the front desk, who answered texts in a timely manner. One doesn't expect flawless service from a seasonal lodge, but for the price ($300+ per night), the service was disappointingly slow and unprofessional. "

"I didn't have to meet anyone which is a plus. It is a little expensive for what you get. Room was clean. Room is small. Don't expect luxury like vegas hotels. It served it's purpose for rest for the next day. "

"This was a great place to stay--very quiet, roomy, and cozy. The hosts were welcoming and very responsive, we asked for more matches and they brought them immediately! The furnace made the home very cozy and the hosts provided more than enough firewood. Kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed, as well as the bathroom and living room. We would love to come back and stay here again! Thank you Peggy!"
