"Convenient location, close to Oakland (Pitt, CMU) and nice property right on the water and right next to happening South Side Flats locations like the Hofbräuhaus with access to walking/running trails along the river and the Hot Metal bridge. Breakfast was average and there is a small, but well appointed gym. Rooms were large and had everything needed for long stays. Our room had a nice view of the water and the properties across the river. The only issue we had with this stay was that there was an engagement party one night and then a wedding the other night in the courtyard area our second floor room was located on. They shut these down by 10:30pm, so they were not all night ragers, but it was loud - I mean so loud that we could not even talk in the room or watch TV, loud. It was fine, however, it would have been good for the hotel to let us know that there were planned events during our stay that could have disrupted our plans or our nighttime routines. If someone had small children and/or required a quiet space, the rooms on the courtyard would have been difficult to endure due to the music and conversations happening for the events. Other than that, it was a solid choice in a good location."

"Close to medical facilities at UPMC, this hotel was perfect for us. Zoe was so helpful and welcoming upon check-in. It's a newer building and everything was clean and well-lighted. Our room was more like a suite with two televisions, separate couch and seating area for one of them. Bed was comfortable (A tad softer than we prefer) with very nice linens and four pillows. Bath towels were excellent quality, as were the toiletries in pump dispensers. Shower had hand-held hose option with good pressure. No carpet in room, thank goodness, a few well-placed area rugs. Restaurant and bar on site are always nice (kitchen open until 9 pm, bar until 10 pm with menus that cover all the bases at reasonable prices). Adjacent parking was $22. Note: there is a microwave in the lobby "market", none in the rooms. Keurig coffee maker had tea and coffee pods. Ear plugs provided for those who needed them (we did not). Parkway traffic sounds not an issue for us, but light sleepers should ask for river-side room. TV was challenging: no option to choose a specific channel, volume control took time to figure how to use. We would stay here again and recommend without hesitation."

"While this isn’t a luxury property, the price and location were great for the area. We were visiting family and spending a day at Kennywood, so being nearby and having a home instead of a hotel allowed us to enjoy more time together.The property was clean, though the kitchen had only basic amenities, so come prepared if you plan to do much cooking. The stairs to the downstairs rooms were a little tricky to navigate. A baby gate is available for those traveling with young children.The decks were wonderful places to gather, and the fire pit was a nice touch. The neighborhood is a bit run-down, but the neighbors were friendly, and the dead-end street meant very little traffic. The driveway comfortably accommodated two cars.Chris was kind, helpful, and responsive to all our concerns. Overall, this was a good value and a convenient place for our family visit."

We did have any issues while staying there that required us to talk to the owners but the one question I asked before our stay was answered promptly. The location was fantastic. We were in town for University of Pittsburgh Family Weekend. The house was very clean and stocked with anything we could need. Beds were comfortable. We had no problem with parking. Honestly, I highly recommend this place and we will be staying again."

The unit was well stocked with everything we needed, and each bedroom was comfortable with ample closet space.Overall, we had a very pleasant experience.
