"All of the staff at the Hotel Smeraldo were friendly. The Filipino housekeeping lady, that was always keeping the lobby area clean, was so sweet & kind. She always greeted us & made us feel welcomed. Their morning breakfast was delicious--we especially enjoyed the cappuccino & maritozzo! The hotel's location was excellent, we walked to nearly every venue, Colosseum, Vatican, Pantheon, Jewish Ghetto, Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona, Borghese Gallery & Villa, Doria Pamphilj gallery, Travestere & Testaccio from there. We'd definitely stay there again if we visit Rome again. We loved the Hotel Smeraldo & Rome. "
