The Hive Hotel

"The hotel is conveniently located near Roma Termini, right next to the DoubleTree by Hilton. It offers easy access to the main shopping strip and major attractions and churches. The business hotel is well-run, with professional staff who are very accommodating. Our room was spacious and well-designed, equipped with all the modern amenities. The housekeeping team did a decent job keeping our room clean and replenishing the toiletries. However, our tissue box was empty on the second day, and the front desk couldn’t help us get another one. Coffee and tea were available in the room and were refreshed daily. Just a short walk away is the Castoro Supermarket, conveniently located next to the UPIM clothing store. It’s the best place to grab water and essentials. There were two minor issues. First, the garbage trucks made noise at 3 a.m. every morning. Second, the towel heater in our room didn’t work. Overall, I’d book this hotel again without hesitation. If you’re a light sleeper like me, you might want to ask for a quieter room elsewhere."

"The Ponte Sisto is my home away from home in Rome since 1996. I love it for so many reasons. Not in noisy Trastevere but not for from its restaurants. The location next to Tiber is beautiful and romantic, as is the historic building which is the hotel. The breakfast is wonderful. It’s a convenient walk to the sights in Rome that I love. Personal to me, the path along the lower Tiber is so beautiful and perfect for running and I have trained for several marathons there - but during summer months there are popup restaurants that make it too busy. For a visit to Rome, you should stay at the Ponte Sisto."

"This hotel is in a great location, very cute with tons of charm and the staff is so helpful. Their breakfast is so fresh, delicious, served from 7-10am and very visually appealing as well as offering a variety of options. The room has everything we needed and was very clean. Also, and this was huge!…The AC works great."
