"My family is from the San Luis Valley. I've been coming down here my whole life and never stayed at this hotel one we always stayed with family. This year I really wanted to see what it was like and we were not disappointed. The staff was super helpful and the service was great. The showed new movies, two screens the first you can watch from your room but to hear the other you literally have to drive into the drive in. Which we thought was great. Thank you for the great breakfast in the morning...

"Not to miss sunsets and sunrises in the valley that you only find when camping here! And being a dark sky park allows the stars to dazzle you at night. Great accommodations and location. The staff is super nice. Only downside is how close the tents are. We came on a holiday weekend and the place was full. Lots and lots of kids running screaming, which made it not so restful for us quiet types. But all of the views made up for the bad people experience."

"Super neat concept! The yurt was decorated beautifully and stocked very well. Bathroom facility was prestine. The communal kitchen was fantastic. And the movie on the big screen was such a fun time and super impressed by how clear and projecting the speakers are when in front of the screen, but not a problem when in the yurt. This was the closest fun accommodation I could find that was reasonably priced near the Sand Dunes, glad we took this option! "
