"It is a cozy place to stay for a vacation. The hotel staff and owner are lovely people. We booked for one night and extended for another night. If time had allowed us, we would have stayed more days there. The property felt like home. Where it is located: Cap D’ail itself , has so much to offer already. And bus stations snd train stations are close. It’s easy to go to Monaco and Nice. We will miss Hotel Normandy. "

"This is a very good hotel and well worth repeat visits. In the hills with outstanding views. To go to the village or seaside resorts down the hill you need to use a car. Long distance, narrow and no footpath makes walking impossible. The local bus service should be avoided. Infrequent and I have been on more comfortable roller coasters. "Nice location, however expedia should diaplay a warning..risk of death or serious injury during the drive up to the hotel. It is very dated and not well kept. Our balcony door was jammed and would not open.we drove at night and its literally on topof the mountain with no guard rails. No restuarnts are walking distance and we didnt feel safe driving down from the mountain to grab a bite. Hotel restaurant closed at 930pm, luckily we were able to order food delivery.
