Perfect for a couple

Rita is a gracious host, the cabana is clean, perfect for 2, comfy bed, short walk to the beach. Just bring bug spray if you plan to go to the beach at night.

Perfect Getaway

What a lovely little Condo, steps to the beach, a wal greens right across the street, restaurants and bars all in walking distance, can't say enough nice things about this vacation spot. It was secure, perfect for two people and loaded with everything you might need and didn't pack.. Would love to stay there again in the future.

Rita was an exceptional host. Her place has so many extras to make one's stay comfortable and convenient. We so appreciated her thoughtfulness in the small items that can become so difficult if needed. Efficient studio near everything

We were very pleased with the lodging. It’s a little bigger than an extended stay, so easily could stay for a week. Less than 5 minute walk to beach. Highly recommend renting chairs right outside the gate. Really close walk to two drugs stores that sell everything, and a nice walk to grocery. Be sure to bring cloth bags with you, makes shopping easier. Thanks for everything!!!

Rita is the best!!

The property had everything we needed! Including extra sunblock and aloe.. and floats for the kiddos for the beach! She sent some suggestions for grocery delivery which worked out as our planes were delayed and we didn't arrive until after 1 AM! Great location! Walking distance to everything and drive to San Juan was very short! I will recommend and be back to visit her property.

Wonderful location to the beach

Wonderful access to a lovely beach. Easy to use Uber to travel to Old San Juan, 15-20 minutes with traffic. Rita was very communicative. Disappointing that the neighbor next door was on his phone at 3:15AM speaking loudly on his porch. At 5:30AM he turned his loud music on. This happened several times during our 1 week stay. I don’t know if he is the owner, or another visitor. Lots of places to shop for essentials and fast food eateries. Mi Casita was an excellent restaurant for PR food, as well as restaurants at the Fairmont el San Juan (casino too).

Efficient Studio steps to the beach in the heart of isla verde

Rita is an amazing host! Her listing is accurately described and it’s perfectly located steps away from the most beautiful beach! It’s on the first floor so there is no beach view from the unit itself. Definitely recommend renting the lounge chairs on the beach. We stayed for 10 days and used this unit as a “home base” while we explored the island. Since this was our first trip to Puerto Rico we did not know what to expect. Isla verde beach is beautiful but to get the most out of PR you definitely need to rent a car for longer stays. On day 4 of our trip the electricity went out in the building, which can be a common occurrence in PR and obviously not the owner’s fault. It was fixed the same day, but we took that opportunity to head to Lajas on the other side if the island and enjoyed it so much we spent three nights there! Coming back to the unit for the last two days of our stay was nice, there is coin op laundry and we spent a wonderful last couple of days lounging on the beach! Thank you Rita for a great stay!

Perfect location:

This studio apartment was wonderful! It had all we needed and the location on the beach was perfect. Being on the ground floor was really nice because we didn’t need to wait for any elevator...we just walked out to the gorgeous pool and the beach. No beach view but we went there to be on it, not just to look at it! The place was clean, safe, and large enough for two people. It was exactly as the pictures showed with the stated amenities. We loved having our coffee in the mornings on the covered patio. Rita, our host, was great! She was pleasant and really wanted us to enjoy our stay. There were plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance. When we desired something different we just hopped on bus #53 and went to the Condado area. Bus stop was in front of the condo building and only cost 75 cents to go into Old San Juan. We plan to return to this condo next year. It was a wonderful base to have to relax and to explore San Juan.

Beautiful but….

Cabana was cute but disappointed in location to beach, it was a walk and multiple gates to go thru. The beach was beautiful! No rocks or seaweed. But you did have to pay $4 to rent a lounger chair there. Also zero ocean/beach view from cabana which was disappointing. Location of building was great and owner gave many suggestions of places to eat within walking distance. Our major complaint was noise, remodeling happening in the building that began every morning at 7am. Definitely nothing that could be slept through. I understand it is out of owner control but very frustrating, I actually got up earlier on vacation than I do at home for work. Only other complaint was getting into cabana. Key to gate was very tricky and slider door stuck every time, we ended up not closing all the way to avoid the problem. Overall PR was amazing and will be going back, but probably staying at a different complex.

Simple condo steps from the beach

We had a very nice time in San Juan. I will warn you the traffic is a bit much if you are not used to driving in city traffic. That being said you definitely need a car if you are going to some of the famous landmarks. There are a lot of good restaurants (especially Hijole’s) and Walgreens with in walking distance. We had a fantastic time at the beach and pool for some relaxing days - no driving and also had some adventures. We traveled to the National park, did a bioluminescent tour, went to old San Juan and took a boat trip to Culebra (highlight of the trip). The location of this property was great if you want to be centrally located. The condo itself is not fancy but had all the essentials. There were nice things we didn’t expect like jug of water, soaps, leftover sunscreen, toilet paper and paper towels even a big bottle of shampoo which was nice. There were no beach chairs but Rita fixed that very quickly. Very responsive! The only negatives: no dish towels, no wash clothes and only 3 forks. However, it was nothing that ruined a vacation that’s for sure! There’s no ocean view from the condo, but access to the beach and pool is quick and easy. Additionally, be aware not all streaming services work in PR. Had a husband we couldn’t watch March Madness. Just something to be aware of if it matters to you. No frills but appropriately priced. Over all had a great time!
