Great Experience!

Property was a dream, from the scenic views to the space we had, everything was great. Property does need some updating, but didn't impact our comfort. Great communication with property manager, easy check-in and check-out.

Great House and View but a little run down

The house was great with an awesome view but the is some maintenance needing done. No shower head in one shower, the other shower's handheld shower head hose was broken, tile in the kitchen sink were loose, the access to the rooftop terrace was boarded off, and there is no AC in the main part of the house (ac was good in all 3 bedrooms). If those maintenance issues were addressed then 5 star.

Definitely a beautiful location, and we get it’s in the middle of a rainforest so the bugs outside were expected but the amount of bugs we had to clean up after we walked into the door was unreal. Cockroaches, flies, beetles and ants. We had spent nearly $80 at Drunken Cookie in San Juan, the ants were so bad that they got through the packaging of the cookies and we had throw them out. The location was definitely not cleaned prior to our arrival. This description states 35 mins from San Juan, which is deceiving, it’s more like 50 mins and the travel there is not for everyone. Hot water is very limited and I probably should say luke warm water, because it never got hot. No lighting in the pool area, tv did not work but after reaching out they came and dropped a new tv which they did not connect and just sat on the floor, so it was never used. We had a 4 night stay but checked out early, mainly because we found evidence of a very large snake had been or is in the house as a snake skin was having from the rafters. I would typically avoid reviews like this but expedia asked the owner for a refund for just the one night we did not stay there and they refused, however Expedia did give us credit for the night. Had the owner refunded us for the night we left due to not feeling safe we would have felt as though the owner cared, when we told them, the response was “we’ll call an exterminator, and talk to the cleaning crew” no apology or anything. DONT STAY HERE!

Photos do not do this place any justice. It is gorgeous. If you're staying with a large group, it may affect how long you have hot water in the showers. Nothing a little patience would not fix. Totally worth the stay.
