About this property
Condado San Juan / Beach,Touristic & Business Area
Located in one of the best and safest areas in Condado, you can walk to the beach in only 5 minutes. Includes one private parking spot. This touristic area is frequently patrolled. The apartment is about 15 minutes away from Old San Juan and San Juan Airport (SJU). Juice bar next to the building, and across the street a nice cafeteria and bakery. Within walking distance, you'll find various restaurants, cafés, bars, also shops, pharmacies, grocery stores, a casino, and one of the best hospitals.
The space
Very spacious, comfortable, and bright apartment equipped with all the basic items and appliances. The living and dining room floors are in marble. It also has a balcony with 2 chairs. All 3 bedrooms and the living room have their own AC unit. Towels, 2 beach chairs and a cooler are provided for use during your stay. We allow one dog at no additional cost.
Guest access
The apartment is on the 7th floor of a small building, with only 2 apartments per floor and a private key for the elevator, so that this floor can only be accessed by those staying in it.
We provide one set of keys and a gate remote. If lost or missing, we will charge $200 for the keys and $100 for the gate remote. Please make sure you don't lose the keys or gate remote, and return everything before departure.

Had to reach out for check in instructions as they were not given. Lockbox located in trash area. Had to retrieve keys from around trash filled trash cans. We got stuck in the elevator. Fortunately we were able to exit on our own by prying the door open. Elevator was not fixed by next day and had to drag our belongings down 7 flights of stairs. Not a good experience. Area beyond noisy. Felt like being in middle of NYC

Lively neighborhood
This property is nice..close to the beach and restaurants. The downsize is it is located on a party street that had cars constantly playing very loud music and partying people that were still very active at 4 in the morning! I realize this is not the owner's fault but it was not good for children or those trying to sleep.

This place is a great value for the location. The only downside is the street noise as mentioned by other reviewers. We’re used to sleeping in a loud place so we had earplugs and we’re fine, but for some people it could be an issue. Two of the bedrooms face east and south, where it’s more quiet, so it’s really just the main bedroom that is noisy. I would recommend that the owner replace the couches or at least put slip covers on them. They were off putting and we used spare sheets to cover them. Otherwise the apartment was great for the money, was safe, and had great air conditioning.

Super location, good communications, kind of noisy
Maria Teresa was great to work with and kindly accommodated a change in dates because of a family emergency - which I truly appreciated. The apartment is in the best area of Condado in my opinion, and we go frequently to the island to visit family. The only negative on the location is that Condado is very noisy at night, and even on the 7th floor - the cars honking and blasting raggaeton are very audible because the windows are miami louvers and not sound proof. No matter which room you are in, noise sensitive sleepers will have a very hard time getting a good night's sleep.
The only other negative was that the wifi did not work reliably the entire time we were there, apparently because the building allowance for data was used up for the month. Fortunately, my each member of my family has unlimited data that includes Puerto Rico on our phones which is what we all used. However, for anybody absolutely needing reliable wifi access, this is probably not the best property to rent. Note this also affected the TVs which are run on wifi - so we didn't have the ability to watch the news or movies or anything on TV.

This is a great apartment in a fabulous location. Host was incredible at responding .
Everything was great with the apartment and the location is close to all these great restaurants. The host was very attentive. The drawback is the noise. We rented for a week and for 7 nights we did not sleep.

Nice place to stop for the night
We stopped for one night in San Juan to avoid a lengthy lay over. This VRBO was close to la placita, the beach, and not terribly far from the airport and old San Juan. It was really nice to have a parking spot!
