This an older property, but well maintained, the rooms are very clean and the staff kind and friendly. Breakfast is provided. Within 5 min of several restaurants, fast food and shopping. We stay there whenever we are in SJC.

This hotel is right off the 5 in San Juan Capistrano. It's pretty easy to get to, but getting out is a little tricky (basically one-way unless you cut over the median). They've started charging for parking, which IMO is ridiculous. They claim it's to cover cost of sheriff patrol. The room was pretty comfortable - clean, and I asked to have an interior room to avoid being on the freeway side, which they accommodated. My biggest problem with the room was the utter lack of hot water. I ran it for almost 15mins (in a water-controlled state), and it never even turned slightly warm. I would have simply given the info to the front desk, but there was no one when I was leaving. I would stay here again, but I will check the water situation first, and now I know to make sure about room placement.

The hotel did not meet its standards, the room smelled and was super dirty. I was only there for 3 hours to the smell of the room. It was so uncomfortable and suck a terrible experience being that i am here for a wedding. Not sure how to go about getting a refund for this hotel and experience.

For the price, I would have expected the hotel to be an actual hotel. The first presentation was very “motel-In” which was not advertised in the images. Aside from the false advertisement, we spent a majority of our evening killing a lot of spiders in the bathroom where they either snuck from the door that was open directly outside, or the crooked hole in the air vents above our shower. The cleanliness wasn’t the best. The cleanliness was there, but there was no safe to put our belongings and no closet to put our clothes. We felt uncomfortable in our rooms. If I had paid for a motel Inn this would have been expected, but it’s not an Inn, it’s a hotel. So, the adjustment we had to accommodate to was a bit much. As a Motel it is perfect but as a Hotel, not so much.

The beds need a comforter. One thin blanket and two sheets won’t cut it. Had to run the heater all night. Too cold not good. Also the door needs to be repaired or replaced. Too much space between door and jams. Air, noise, and light came through. Also, carpet needs to be cleaned or replaced. Sorry for the poor review but please see room 217 for yourself

Service was adequate and clean. I was a little irritated after checkout bc I had 2 different charges on my credit card but after I called their office, they remedied the situation. Also, parking was available but they do charge $10 a night to park your car

Good for a short stay
For an overnight stay, it was fine. Nothing "boutique: about it, but clean and neat. Breakfast had some nice hot items, so not a carb fest which was good.

Cockroaches crawling everywhere in the room! Charge you for a deluxe room & gave me the cheapest room. I asked for a refund on the difference. I was told I would have to speak with the manager Gilbert. He would be the one to do it. When we’re checking out I was told he wasn’t there. He would call me. Never called me. I called he lied and said he wasn’t the manager! Now i want a full refund!

The front desk staff were excellent. Unfortunately, our television did not work, there was a musty smell (probably from recent storms) in the room, and no hot water in the shower. When we spoke to the front desk, she indicated she'd need to contact a manager.

I had the worst experience at this hotel . I was on tour and got two rooms from the point that we got there they had to musty moldy rooms . Then the last room they put us in had a tissue papar in the peep hole that's been there for along time . In my other room wasn't vaccinated because I have a picture of a woman's eye lash and mold on the wall . Then the first time the front desk lady calls my room stating she is going to charge my card 250 dollars because my partners as she stated were smoking outside of the room . When in fact they were smoking in the parking lot not even close to being in the room and she then yelled at them when they asked her ? Where could they smoke . Then after I complained about all of this drama stress happening to Expedia the hotel locked us out of our rooms slamming Expidia saying they sent a lettter canceling us . Coming to find out in a call to Expedia that the hotel lied about the letter in want it stated to the hotel . Expedia stated to comp our night do to the concerns and or give us a credit . Instead the hotel locked us out of our rooms as a paying customer and to add made us late to our show because we were locked out of our rooms . Do not stay at this hotel it's the worst hotel ever ..
