"Such a treat to stay at this lovely, beautifully furnished & decorated (lots of original art) hotel just 1/2 block from the plaza and the Basilica of St. Francis. We had reserved 2 rooms and were able to check-in early into 1 of them. With valet assistance we stored all our luggage there until the 2nd room became available. The food and service in the main dining room is superb. We ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner there and the choices were delicious and servings generous. A fountain in the middle adds to the refreshing ambiance. The rooms (206 & 208) including the ensuite bathrooms, were good-sized, the bed and linens very comfortable, and quiet. In-room amenities included terrycloth robes, coffee & tea and gifted water bottles, and a small fridge/freezer combo. We never even turned on the TV. We loved watching the sunset while sipping cocktails on the rooftop "Bell Tower" bar. Park your car ($30/night) and easily walk to all the key places, including the New Mexico History and the Georgia O'Keefe museums. The fitness center is small, but has the usual free weights, treadmills, etc. Note: The foam roller needs to be replaced (soft in center) and a workout mat or yoga mat would be a nice addition. I didn't use the hot tub or pool. La Fonda is a top-notch hotel and I highly recommend staying here."

"STAFF NOT TO FRIENDLY BUT NOT BAD. THE ROON WE GOT WAS ON THE 2ND FLOOR IT WAS A SUITE. FIRST IMPRESSION OF ROOM WAS NICE AND CLEAN. AC WORRKED REALLY GOOD . BEDS ARE VERY HIGH BUT COMFORTABLE. TV KEPT LOOSING SIGNAL SO HAD TO WATCH ON OUR PHONES. THE DOOR DEADBOLT LOCK WAS BROKEN . BATHROOM WAS NICE AND BIG BUT THE BATHTUB/SHOWER COMBO HORRIBLE VERY HIGH TO GET IN TO TAKE A SHOWER IF YOU HAVE BAD KNEES YOU NEED ASSISTANCE DONT TRY IT ALONE . COUCH IN ROOM SUNK ALL THE WAY TO FLOOR . POOL AND HOT TUB NICE CLEAN AREA BUT THE STEPS TO GET IN AND OUT HORRIBLE NOT SAFE FOR A PERSON WITH KNEE OR LEG ISSUES SO DISAPPOINTED I HURT MY KNEES GETTING IN AND OUT OF BOTH .BREAKFEAST WAS REALLY GOOD NICE CHOICES. CHECK OUT Lady not to friendly didnt say thank you kind of disappointed in the customer service. Will I stay here again NO unless I absolutely have to ."

"The staff was friendly. The room and whole was kept very clean. The pool and hot tub looked nice but didn't use as there were a lot of people in both that appeared to really be enjoying them. I liked the fact that they had a taller toilet so I didn't feel like I was sitting on the floor"

"What an adorable, clean, affordable little Inn!! My family of 6 stayed two nights and it was perfect. It was a short driving distance to everywhere we had planned to go. Staff was extremely friendly. The rooms were so comfortable and very cute. Would definitely stay here again."
