"After a long journey from Japan to China and then to San Francisco, I was really looking forward to resting at this hotel. Unfortunately, despite having paid for my stay two months in advance, I was asked to provide a $50 deposit at check-in. Right away, they charged me for both the two days plus the deposit, even though I had prepaid. The staff promised this would be corrected immediately, but when I asked again on Saturday, they said it would take two days to process. On top of that, the room was in awful condition: the curtains were stained, the carpet was dusty, the furniture was covered in dust, and the box mattress even had blood stains. Worse still, we woke up with bed bug bites all over. While the staff was surprised and we provided photos, the resolution was far too slow. I cannot recommend this hotel.”"
