This home is a 3rd floor penthouse condo of a 3-unit complex. Neighboring noise may be heard from time-to-time.

Beach chairs and a beach umbrella are also provided for your use.
You must be at least 30 years old to rent this home. If all guests are adults, all guests must be over the age of 30, excluding families.

Neighborhood Notes:
Mission Beach is San Diego's lively take on the classic boardwalk beach town with over five miles of waterfront boardwalk, trendy shops, restaurants, and Belmont Park, a beachfront amusement park featuring the historic Giant Dipper Roller Coaster, originally built in 1925 but since restored, miniature golf, bumper cars, rock climbing, and an arcade. Mission Beach is just a few minutes to Sea World, 15-20 minutes to The San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, San Diego International Airport (SAN), and downtown San Diego.

This rental is located in a high-density neighborhood of Central Mission Beach with strict house rules and is only suitable for quieter groups. No tolerance policy exists for excessive noise, occupancy, parties, smoking, or pets. Failure to abide by these policies may lead to immediate eviction without refund. Don't forget to report any damages, issues, or upgrade suggestions—we truly value your feedback! Check-out is at 10:00 AM, unless a late check-out was pre-approved. Fantastic place!

This property is fantastic. New and up to date. Great views. Love the location where it’s close to restaurants and bars, but far enough away to not be right in the middle of it or noisy. We will rent here again for sure!

Special birthday getaway

Everything was beautiful from the chrck in process to our actual accommodations Sitting out on the decks in the early mornings for sunrise or late evenings for the sunsets was a visual treat . The location of the property is excellent. Walk to Olive coffee shop in the morning. The beach is literally right out the front door. Loved it!

Wonderful!

We rented this home for our family of four. It was a beautiful property. Very clean and appeared recently updated. Beds were very comfortable. Amazing views of the ocean and sunsets. Really appreciated having use of beach chairs, umbrella and boogie boards. Even though you are right on the boardwalk, it was very quiet. The host was super responsive to questions. I would definitely return and recommend anyone else looking to visit the San Diego area to check this place out!

Amazing relaxing weekend stay!

This property is amazing. Just as described in the description. Clean and ready to stay in. Sitting on the balcony and watching the ocean is great. Right next to the boardwalk. Take something to ride and you can go for miles. Garage is a smaller 2 car garage. We had a Jeep Wagoneer that fit, but we had to park on an angle to get it all the way in. No big deal for us. But keep in mind if you have a larger vehicle. Overall great loacation. We will stay here again!

We loved the house and loved the proximity to the beach. There were 10 of us total (3 children) and we were all very comfortable there. Our bikes and child carrier were stolen from out front but this is not the fault of the property or the area, just bad luck. We felt very safe in this area and recommend it for families. This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

Wonderful Beach Home!

This beach house overall was fantastic. It was modern, clean, had amazing beach views, and included nice beach chairs and amenities. The kitchen had everything we needed, including spices and cooking pans. We loved having the grill right off the kitchen. For our party of 8, it was a little tight. My dad was a solo in a king room so I was on the sofa. A bit more furniture in the family area would be nice for family gatherings. Also, the garage was very small (as indicated). Not ideal for two cars. However, all of that said, the property and location were fantastic. We'd stay there again with a smaller party.

Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay on Mission beach between Christmas and New Years. We made a great decision with this rental - it lived up to listing 💯. The view was AMAZING from both the living room and master bedroom. Watching the sunset from the comfort of our balcony was perfect. We got an upgrade on our rental and we were stressing over parking in the garage - but having access to the double garage came in clutch. With the weather north of us making the ocean very angry in the morning - we were very happy we made the decision to rent the top unit - it was worth the flights if stairs! Don’t hesitate, rent this - you won’t regret it

Your AWESOME stay awaits YOU! :-)

This unit had a GREAT layout, AWESOME VIEW and was super clean. We have stayed in various ocean front locations for over 20 years... Lucky you, if you can find unit cared for as much as this one, with the view and a TWO car garage and gourmet kitchen. I LOVED having an actual "pantry" so you are not tripping over your bags and hunting for spots in the cabinets to store your own food. Ample closet space and well-designed bedrooms/bathrooms so you can have your stuff put away and out of sight so YOU can actually RELAX. The washer and dryer work really well (Hard to find at the beach this means ALOT!) This unit is also super close to the pier/board walk and restaurants/dining with a quick walk... and far enough away from anything too busy for your relaxing vacation. Drift vacations will make sure you have all you need for a good time!:-) We want to thank the owners as well as Drift for caring for this unit. WE will be BACK :-)

Beautiful home in perfect location!

We had a group of 8 staying in the home, including 4 children. The bathrooms were plentiful, the washer/dryer were great, we had an abundance of space so that we didn’t feel cramped, the beds were very comfortable, and the home was CLEAN. Really I can’t say enough good things about the property, as well as the management company. The view was amazing. The location was great as it was close to restaurants and shops, as well as right next to the beach. There were beach toys provided for the children which they really enjoyed. The only thing I feel is worth mentioning as something to think about with children—the family that lives in the unit below is very aware of noises from this unit. This includes the pitter patter of little feet. We tried our best to walk quietly, no running, etc., but were still paid a visit asking us to quiet down. We feel we are very courteous guests, so it was a little disappointing to feel like we had to monitor our footsteps, especially those of the kids, so closely while on vacation. Otherwise, great stay and amazing home. Highly recommended!!

Perfect location right on the beach / oceanfront walk. Place was clean and comfortable with a spectacular view. Perfect for our family of 6. Highly recommend. Note, to get in you have to climb several flights of stairs. Just be aware if you have trouble with stairs.
