Hidden gem

The room was very nicely remodeled with modern touches. The bed was comfortable. The shower was excellent. Would recommend and stay there again.

I won't stay here again. My reservation couldn't be found. The guy said it was under someone elses name and asked me to call the booking place and then asked if I had paid for the room. The A/C didn't work in my room either.

We stayed here one night, as we were headed to Catalina the next morning out of Dana Point. Although this is an old hotel, the rooms have been nicely renovated. The room was spacious, very clean, great shower, fridge,microwave and Keurig coffeemaker. Only concern would be for light sleepers because you can hear the AC come on when it turns on and you can hear some of the street traffic. But, I would highly recommend this place if you are looking to stay in the area.

Location was safe, parking was easy, a little noisy at times very comfortable. Couch in room dirty ,broken.. Looks like renovations are in progress. Would stay at this property again.

Nice, clean rooms!

The rooms were nice, clean, modern. There was a microwave, mini fridge and keurig. Shower was nice. Soft water and low pressure but I’ll take the soft water. Walls are a little thin, but I feel like that’s normal in a hotel. Keep your shade down inside, or else you can see through. Lol Both employees, probably the owners were nice. We’d stay again if ever in the area.

The property manager was a bit rude and seemed a bit overbearing when it came to housekeeping and continued to ask for more money after another guest was added even after I paid. Would not recommend to other people. You get what you pay for

What a gift!

I was so grateful for my stay at Hotel Miramar! I didn’t manage my trip, and was without a place for the night. I was exhausted, just wanted to get some food and rest. Hotel Miramar showed up in such a huge way!! They were kind enough to let me park my large vehicle in their back lot, got me checked in quickly, and even had the menu and number for a FABULOUS local pizza restaurant in the room that delivered TO THE ROOM! They may not know it, but they made my night. The bed was so comfortable, I slept like on clouds. The shower has a rain shower head and it was absolute perfection to be able to relax under the water. Oh, and the blackout window covers!! I seriously could not have asked for a more enjoyable stay. Simple, classic, modern design. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you Hotel Miramar for your kindness and incredibly comfortable accommodations!!

Location is great and super convenient. Outside still looks like a motel but rooms are nice and have been renovated so we didn’t mind. It was a quick stay for us. Only complaint was that the tv didn’t work in our room but that was minor since we were only there for one day.
