"The property was ideally situated close to the harbour and all amenities, and proved an excellent base for a 4 night stay. It was very clean and comfortable and our host, Pauline was next door if we needed anything (we didn’t). We used the Coasthopper bus to Brancaster Staithe and walked back (almost 12 miles) - have done the other direction to Blakeney and Cley before but weather was uncertain so took the car. "We loved everything about the cottage, it was just a shame that it was not the cleanest when we arrived. The floor left our toddlers feet black, there were some dirty items in the cupboards, and the garden had what looked like cleaning wipes in it. But still, the location was amazing - only a short walk to a quiet part of Bacton beach, where we saw seals. We also got a nice bottle of Prosecco and some muffins to welcome us. The beds were comfy too."

"Nice and clean, well decorated but small. Very noisy road, and very hot throughout our stay. As the inside temperature never dropped below 24 degrees (19th to 24th June), we tried to leave bedroom windows open at night, but only did so for an hour on the first night, as there is so much traffic for most of the night, roaring up and down, so not had a lot of sleep. Took coffee bags with us as no coffee maker, as per previous reviews. Power shower was pretty weak but sufficed. Very small...

"Very comfortable cottage close to many beautiful places. Excellent pub 3 doors away and friendly neighbours. Had an issue with the dishwasher not working, within minutes of reporting it someone was there trying to fix it. The only minor gripes being the lack of a Nespresso type machine (there is a cafetière however) and the skirting boards were very dusty throughout the house. Would most definitely stay again though."

"An update of the photos would be beneficial as the kitchen has been beautifully renovated. I found the property to be clean, comfortable and inviting, however, additional cutlery would be useful as the only ones available are plastic and children’s sized. Although out of the property owners control, a barking dog kept me awake most nights, but, for my dogs the property was ideal with even a stair gate to prevent them going upstairs. There is also a really useful courtyard area at the back."
