China Fleet Country Club

10/10 Excellent
"Amazing stay at China Fleet. The staff were incredibly helpful on arrival and had us checked in quickly. We were given one of the cottages which was beautifully appointed and had everything we could need. The swimming and spa facilities were amazing! The kitchen was lovely to cook in and housekeeping had provided everything you could think of! The cottage even had a private garden with a picnic bench where we could eat. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the bathrooms were lovely! I’d highly recommend staying there to anyone!"

"This is the 3rd time we have stayed at this hotel. This time we booked a family room with a bed settee, which was situated on the Plymouth Pavillions side of the hotel, which was a lot quieter than the road at the front of the hotel (we don’t have a main road where we live, so not used to the traffic noise) . It was nice to have air conditioning in our room this time, although the unit could have done with a service, to make it more efficient. Staff were cheerful and helpful as ever, and even managed to get us an early check in. We will be back :)"

"Stayed just the one night and arrived right at the end of check in, but it definitely did the job. Very much a local feel, and the staff and other guests I met were all lovely. Had a great chat with the barman about football and movies. The room itself wasn't anything special but it was clean, and I appreciate the TV being a smart TV that you can sign in to your streaming services of choice. Breakfast was fine, if not a bit under seasoned for my taste. But salt and pepper are on the tables so it's just like being at a café. All in all, I can't complain."
