"The desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and very soundproof -we didnt hear the usual banging of doors etc throughout the night that is common in most hotels. Would definitely stay here again!"

"I grew up on Saltspring. My best friend, who had recently been widowed, expressed an interest in seeing the island so I arranged a visit. I had stayed at the Vesuvius Villas before and I knew we could each enjoy our own bedrooms and bathrooms for a reasonable price. This unit lived up to all my previous visits without exception. It was clean, well equipped and located in a lovely,quiet area. That aside, if visiting again, I would probably ensure that I had a unit on a higher floor. This unit is located on the first floor so the view and the security were not as good as the units above. I wanted a better view for my friend's first visit to the island and, as we were two women alone, we had some security concerns. Other than those personally requirements I would highly recommend this unit, we had a wonderful time."

"Everything was great. The cabin is well appointed. If requiring the use of the pull out couch, it is more comfortable with a foamie that the host gladly provided. We couldn't get the wifi to work, but it didn't really affect us too much. Such a lovely place and such friendly, helpful hosts. We would go back in a heartbeat."
