"While the location is perfect the lodge itself needs work. It needs updating and a refreshed clean look. The lounge chairs in the lobby are extremely worn and the warm inviting picture on line is no match to the dingy look. The room felt dark and the bed mattress saggy. Cleaning fine.No hot shower due to multiple fuses blowing. Drippy faucet. Night 2 a breaker went. My husband had advised there was a bigger issue after night 1 but the staff did not follow up acco rding. Breakfast for Continental as advertised quite sufficient. There's a nice bar on site with reasonable priced food available for. Staff courteous and those there did their best in the moment to help. Hot water pot for the tea l brought good. No tea bags in room. Nice little deck off room. Hiking fantastic. ."

"This container cabin is exceptional and I highly recommend it. It has everything you need and is clean and cozy. As a bonus its location makes it feel like you’re in a treehouse! Communication with the host is also top notch. If you’re looking for a place, look not further and book this one. "

"This is our go to hotel when we visit Red River Gorge. And one of the only hotels with a pool in the red River gorge area!! This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this hotel and have been over pleased both times. It is clean and the staff is friendly. The heated indoor pool is the best feature here, the whole family loves it. The hot tub isn’t as hot as I would like it to be but still nice. The rooms have a mini fridge and microwave which is always nice. I highly recommend this hotel. "

"A perfect cozy cabin in RRG for the common adventurer. I really liked the backyard features with rock formations and a short hiking path. Cabin was clean, enjoyed the balcony and hot tub outside! Thanks for a good stay!"

"The unit was exactly what I was expecting. Tidy and perfect for my mom/kid trip. Very fortunate to have a great weather as it is a very compact unit , we were only really there to sleep. Beds were very comfortable, and my kids fought over turns in the top bunk. Great communication from the host prior to my arrival."
