Hotel Bajamar

10/10 Excellent

"The Bajamar is an excellent hotel, positioned in quiet place within an easy walk to the centre. The staff are really friendly and helpful. My only slight criticism is that the attached cafe and bar closes at 3pm in late September until the end of the session. So you aren't able to take a drink up to your room as you prepare to go out in the evening. Other options are nearby but it would nice to go downstairs and take a coffee or beer back to your room. "Fabulous very clean hotel, with great staff. Hotel is very new, absolutely spotless clean, very quiet and peaceful. Pool area spotless also, you nearly had the pool to your yourself, lovely to unwind. One minute walk to busy streets with lots of bars & restaurants. Few minutes walk to beaches. All staff very attentive and friendly. Very well run hotel. We will definitely return to this hotel on our return trip to Nerja"

"all staff very friendly and helpful, cleaner did excellent job along with towels changed regularly, panoramic view of nerja and surrounding areas from rooftop terrace, excellent location, air conditioning excellent, extremely comfortable double bed, if you ask at reception they are very happy to provide a loan of a iron, no sunshades provided for loungers on terrace, toaster was a disaster as there was no settings on it and had to stand by it and remove toast when it was toasted (on first use toast was burned to a crisp) it would have been appreciated to have two sets of keys to enable us to occasionally go out separately for whatever reason."

"Fantastic location. The hotel is very close to the beaches and the Balcon. Lots of restaurants nearby. The only thing missing is the ability to obtain beach towels from the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff, the hotel was very clean."

"The only wierd thing was the breakfast start time at 08.35 exactly, the breakfast was fine with a good choice but on small plates and when they oped there was a hig que of people because of the late start time."

"We had an excellent stay at this family run hotel. The breakfast was basic however it met our needs as we don’t eat much back home at breakfast time. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They have a restaurant on site and we had a wonderful meal in very nice surroundings. Beware you need to book ahead for the restaurant."
