"Don't overlook this one. With fresh renovations and a convenient bar/restaurant on site, it truly feels upscale. The rooms are average, but freshly updated and so quiet. The staff is all lovely and the pool area seemed very nice though I did not come prepared to swim. Sadly, I would likely never find myself in Statesville again, but I'm very happy that I chose this Sonesta Select. I was not traveling with my pup this time, but they seem very pet-friendly without sacrificing the clean feel."
