"This property was a treat to stay in, especially for the price. The traditional futons made for a quiet, relaxing evening before a busy day of touring Fujiyoshida. I was a huge fan of the wood floor bathroom and wooden bathtub as well. I would recommend spring or summer stays, as the traditional construction means it will be quite cold in the winter, but it was a lovely stay and I would recommend this to anyone visiting Mt. Fuji."
"Loved the space. Lots of small details included, facilities were fantastic, great sleep and brilliant view of Fuji. Loved that it was walking distance to the lake too."
"Provide different experience in staying and enjoying surrouding enviroment, not only traditional hotspring hotel but this type of small house or cabin also very comfortable and unique."

"Staffs are helpful and friendly. One staff even help my wife to carry her luggage down the staircase as she was walking along the same way. Room are clean. We have a pleasant stay at the hotel. "
"I had a wonderful stay with my young teenage daughter. It waas one of our most memorable experiences during our first visit to Japan. We loved our room - Asumi A Western Room with Open Air Bath and a view of the majestic Mt Fuji. The grounds were beautiful. Dinner was great and we loved dining in our room. Breakfast was ok. Staff was very friendly and the customer service was top notch. During our stay, my daughter accidentally left her rings in one of the bathrooms in our room and didn’t realize it until much later. To our surprise, the hotel contacted us, letting us know they had found the rings. Not only did they hold onto them safely, but they also went the extra mile and arranged to have the rings sent to the next hotel we were staying at. Their honesty, care, and willingness to help made a lasting impression on us. We already can't wait to return in December and experience their hospitality again. Highly recommend! "
"Stayed in western style room. The smell of smoke was very apparent and the rooms needed some updating but were adequate. The main plus was the spectator early morning and late evening clear views of mount Fuji."
