"We have had a disappointing experience with this vacation rental. All four of us have suffered from bed bugs. We initially thought we were dealing with mosquitoes. But the bites got so big and painful that it wasn't until later that we realized we were dealing with bed bugs. We complained about this to the landlord afterwards and it seemed only reasonable to us that they would refund half as our holiday enjoyment was seriously ruined. We have not received any response from the landlords."

"The property was ideal for us, great enclosed garden for our dog. Kathy was very welcoming and helpful. The accommodation is quite rustic which is reflected in the price. "The staff was friendly and helpful. The parking was a bit difficult, but was just as it had been described. Our only complaint was the old wooden support beams in our room (room 36). In both the bedroom and the bathroom, these supprt beams took up room and were low enough for a tal person to need to stoop down to pass them.
