"Great location, very helpful staff, breakfast was okay. Would have been nice to have a dinner restaurant in the hotel. We struggled with the language barrier when dining around town. Had the best meal of our entire trip at the American Hotel and Restaurant (very close to hotel) - need to be aware that the good ones close for a couple of days a week."

"Great hotel, with great location! It was hard to drive to, as part of the roads were closed and one way. After this ordeal, everything else was wonderful. You do have to pay extra for breakfast and parking. I do recommend paying for parking when you book the room, to ensure you have a spot, plus it is cheaper. Hotel pool was a nice bonus, but you do have to book an allotted time if you would like to swim. Pool was heated. Room did have AC, which was great given that it was way hotter than usual during our stay. Would highly recommend."

"It was a nice hotel. Handy for being inside the 'Intramuros' at Saint Malo. The whole parking situation was a bit inconvenient and very confusing. (The staff who explained it to us may have been new and left some vital information out, it's about a 5 minute walk/drive away). The room was clean, minimally decorated and tiny but suited it's purpose. The staff, on the whole, was helpful. The picture of the hotel, on this site, is not the front of the hotel, at all. It a view from the back which is only accessible by a private room. Oh, yes, the elevator is not handy, at all. You need to walk up 2 flights of stairs to get to an entrance door that shut properly as to make it function properly. Only 1 person at a time can use it. I wouldn't return."

"The people running it were really helpful and sweet. In the heart of old St Malo and very close to an opening to the beach. Room was tiny and on the second floor. No elevator. No safe or fridge. No air conditioning although they did give me a fan. Normally that would be enough but it was really hot that day(90F). So while I do think this place was cute, I wouldn’t go in summer because of the heat."
