"Wonderful holiday rental. Plenty of space. A bathroom for every bedroom, which was a bonus. Vast garden with numerous activities to keep everyone entertained. The pool was a big hit. We all tried Boules for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed it. Even had a go at archery. Loved the table tennis. There is a lovely town a short distance away which is well worth a visit. The hosts were so lovely. Very friendly but respectful of our privacy, they even went above and beyond for us when the freezer broke down and had it replaced with a brand new fridge freezer the very next day. Thanks again for all the wonderful memories of our time in France."

"Pour une rare fois, les photos donnent un portrait qui ne rend pas tout-fait justice à l'appartement qui est vraiment agréable, bien équipé et très bien situé dans une village médiéval. Le village est vraiment agréable à marcher. Il y a un peu de touristes mais on en ressent pas vraiment la présence. Méfiez-vous des lundis car tous les commerces sont fermés ! Issigeac est un bon pied à terre pour explorer la région. Nous avons voyagé par temps de canicule; on trouve de nombreux endroits de baignade en rivière sur les bords de la Dordogne qui serpente la région. Châteaux, grottes et vignobles à profusion..."

"As a couple in our 60,s we found the furniture and bedding more suitable for younger people. This not a criticism as all was clean and modern for us less mobile others may wish to be aware of. Thank you the host for a lovely home."

"What a breathtaking property. From the moment you walk through the big green gate, it’s an incredible place. We were a mixed group 20, friends and family, ranging from 0-50 years old. The property itself is filled with history but with lovely little modern twists, mainly the kitchen and bathrooms. It’s not obvious from the photos but there is also a large barn with a table tennis table in which was a nice hub for socialising. The pool is large and fenced off to stop any children accidentally falling in. The hosts stayed on the site however in a separate building. It was lovely having them there if we needed anything and they gave us lots of little tips but did not invade on our privacy. They made every effort to make us feel at home. The local Sunday market they recommended was a true gem.Also were 2 beautiful dogs on the property, very friendly and big hits with our group. Although the property is very close to the airport, would highly recommend renting cars as taxis were slow and expensive. "
