A real delight in the centre of Bergerac

Whilst this was only an overnight stay, we were so impressed that we are already planning our next trip to include the La Gambetta. Perfectly located in the centre of Bergerac, with everything you need within a very short stroll, there's not much more you could ask for. Fantastic service and attention.

This hotel was in a great position to walk down to Bergerac and look around the many lovely shops and restaurants it has to offer. The room was modern and the bed was comfortable. The air con worked well in the room and there was a kettle. The only negative was that the tea bags/sugar weren’t replaced and there was no milk left. The receptionist we had for the weekend we were there (August 22-25th) was outstanding! She was very helpful, had excellent english and couldnt do more for you. As well as that she always had a smile and a hello for you when you entered or exited the building. Overall i would recommend this hotel and would go again if i was staying in Bergerac.

The hotel was basic but clean & the staff were great. The location was central and the town has many attractions. The in room facilities is the TV was lacking - it had a smart tv but I could not connect to my Netflix account & the WiFi was external & dodgy.

The room I was in was extremely noisy. Whenever somebody used water above me, I could hear it rushing through the walls or pipes. It woke me up several times over the night. I really wouldn’t stay here again, the lack of sleep was a little bit distressing.
