Refrigerator doesn’t work, light by desk didn’t work, air conditioning unit smelled like urine, the phone worked intermittently. I was told about a room change and that never happened. Noise level at 3 am slammed doors and yelling banging on walls woke me up. Check in experience was horrible so paid for early check in and it didn’t show up in the system. I want a refund

The key system is out of date. Had to walk b ack to the office 3x to get new keys made. One time the new key didn't work Could not turn on the taps in the grimy bath tub. This was fixed on the 2nd day by the repairman. When I asked for a rebate for this and other problems, the manager mentioned that I am "old" so ??? No rebate. Apparently the taps would turn on for someone younger. Floors filthy. Had to ask to have them mopped. That helped but it looks like they vacuum the hard wood floors and do not routinely mop them. Towels limp and looked like they were left there for a long time. Breakfast foods cleared away before the end of the breakfast time period.

Area is not the best, homeless people and trash around the grounds. Pool area dirty and water had film of dirt and hair. Rooms were okay, older furniture and stains present. Window curtains were broken and had to figure out a way to keep window blocked for sleep. Staff was very nice and helpful. Morning breakfast was good.

I tried to cancell my reservation due to reports of a bed bug infestation. The hotel would not give me my money back. Do not stay here staff is also very rude and not helpful in any way.

My non smoking room wreaked of smoke smell! My toilet didnt flush. Burn marks on the edge of bathtub and no phone. Manager/owner refused to refund my money. He initially told me there would be no refund whatand i should take another room or let maintenance fix the toilet. He was rude and talked over me but thrn suddenly agreed to refund my stay. I think he changed his tune because he was checking other suckers in and didnt want to argue with me. UNLESS YOURE A PROSTITUTE OR ADDICT, DONT STAY HERE!!

Called in before making my booking about early check in policies & the possibility (yes, I know it can’t be guaranteed) of an early check in. Was told there would be an additional $30 dollar fee. Woman @ the front counter who could use ethnicity & customer service sensitivity training laughed @ our last name. It was 2 words & often gets booked under one or the other based on the company’s system. Then we were told we couldn’t do an early check in as there was only 1 suite like that in their entire hotel & it was occupied. When I inquired about what time I could call back she rudely asked if I wanted her to call the guests staying in the suite & demand a check out time. Then I was told to “Just walk around town until 3” We “walked around town” until 4 & upon arrival was told that they didn’t know what room we were in. They said they only had 1. New front desk person said, no. They in fact had more. But due to their phone lines & internet being down he didn’t know which room. Then they tried to book me into a different one. Not what I paid for. When I asked for a refund manager wasn’t in. I call Expedia for help and am dumb founded as I am told my room is available because someone told Expedia it was. I had to explain to Expedia that I was at the counter & being told otherwise. To be fair man @ counter was trying to get it cleaned but it’s 5PM. Check in was @ 3. Their hot tub was also down. Man @ counter needs a raise, only good thing about the place. Got my refund. Just, don’t

Had to get two different rooms, one because of the tv, next room door was open and beds hadn’t been made. Both rooms looks like someone had spit on the dresser. There were atleast 8 stray cats in the parking lot. And the staff made me walk back to the lobby 2 times to get new keys.

We were here 5 days and didn’t get any type of visit from the room attendants, not a clean towel, didn’t make the beds, didn’t take the trash, none of the normal stuff you get at hotels! The hot tub was not sanitary to get in, the water was a green brown color and full of dirt and leaves, which is expected because were surrounded by trees, but the pool was much cleaner! We found a metforman pill when we got here, I have a 16 month old we’re lucky didn’t find it and eat it first! We also found an empty pill wrapper smh. Some staff were really nice and helpful, while a couple staff were rude and not so helpful! Beds were pretty hard so my whole body is definitely hurting after so many nights! Probably more I can’t think of right now but that’s most of it! Not a great experience and don’t plan to stay here in the future!

I felt like it was a bait and switch hotel. I was spending a really nice hotel from Howard Johnson. But instead it felt like it was A. Econology la quanta inn. I got in at 1230 last night in the morning. And was really tired, I'm a driver and people were fighting out there and smoking, dope and cigarettes and was coming to my room. I called security. I felt very unsafe, I went a refund.

It is NOT a Howard Johnson like you would imagine. It still has La Quinta Inn signage everywhere, and if you like La Quinta, then it's yours to have. The manager was "in the back" doing God knows what while a guest and I were screaming for service, banging on all the doors available, looking EVERYWHERE for this person, and then nonchalantly with a very calm behavior, the manager just said, "Sorry I was in the back". That's just the management of the place. Room: The freezer was frozen and the door was unable to close, smells of smoke in the room and sheets, A/C was in a comma state, dirty bathtubs, not enough breakfast for all guests at 8am and then they complained on us "being late". BAD IN ALL WAYS. DO NOT GO HERE

Was over charged. Went to ask about it and they couldnt explain why. Manager never called back. Staff yelled and swore at me saying "what the **** is your problem?" When i asked whats going on with the extra charge. I wouldnt have noticed it if i didnt check to pay my bills. After i left, i notified a friend and told him about it. As he was leaving, he notice multiple guest also trying to figure out why they was over charged. I am currently still following the pe ding payment. Room tv and door was broke. Noticed it got worse the second night and told the staffs but they did nothing.

The rooms were very small and basic for the price. They were clean, but the exterior is showing its age. The hotel is located in an unsafe area with homeless encampments all around the property and people sleeping on the sidewalks. Expect alchohol and drug activity in the area. Freeway noise was disruptive to sleep. I would not stay here with small children. For that matter, I would not stay here again myself, even at a lower rate.
