Bowerbird Cottage Studio Apartment - Binna Burra Bushwalks & Tea House nearby

10/10 Excellent
"The property was superb. It was very cosy and comfortable. The gardens were lovely and it was a joy to have a tea on the swinging lounge at the front patio. The furnishings in the unit were really nice, and the host had made a lot of effort with many extras for the guest -- all very appreciated. The kitchenette had the basics for cooking small meals, but there was a large barbeque and gas burner outside that was great. It was a quiet location and the hosts (who lived in the storey above) were very respectful and quiet. The unit is only 10 min drive from fabulous walks at Lamington National Park!"

"We loved our weekend stay. A gorgeous setting that was calm and serene but had enough for the kids to do - fire pit, pool table and space to explore. Would happily recommend to anyone."

"We visited in the winter; lovely cool weather. It’s obvious someone has a green thumb. I would love to the garden in full bloom. Even in winter the roses were fragrant and lovely. Stuart was a wonderful host, showing us the building, kitchen, our room with en suite. I love that shower!! Breakfast was laid out at 7 am for our leisure and even at 9 am (we had a bit of a lie in) was still warm and fresh. Centrally located for our travels, it was a wonderful stay!!"

"Absolutely wonderful stay. The accommodation was incredibly clean, comfortable and well looked after, and everything from check-in to check-out was straightforward and easy. The host was fantastic and made the whole experience feel very welcoming and stress-free. It’s also in such a beautiful location, with so many amazing walks, lookouts and places to explore nearby. As long as you’re respectful of the property and follow the house rules, I genuinely couldn’t recommend this place enough. I had an amazing stay and would happily come back again. Thank you Julie "

The Kooralbyn Valley

The Kooralbyn Valley

8/10 Good
"The resort definitely needs some TLC, since it's been up for sale needed updates and repairs are just not happening. Having said that the place is comfortable and clean and the staff are fantastic. We were a bit disappointed that the restaurant is now only open on Friday and Saturday nights but understandable considering how quiet the place is through the week. The upside is that there's almost no one there mid week so you almost have the place to yourself. The nearby pub and cafe/Indian restaurant have excellent food 7 days a week. The golf is great and the course is well maintained although the cart paths are bit neglected. If you want a couple of days away somewhere quiet and comfortable this is it."
