"When our room was cleaned they changed out the towels and took trash. Empty paper roll for toilet and dead bugs on floor. Only half cleaned. Not good. Then a dinner reservation was made for Sunday inside and then we find out that restaurant isn't closed on Sunday so eating on the veranda. Staff should have known that when taking reservation. Not impressed. Tom Moreno here"

"While the room and property was nice enough changing $300 a night for a room where you can’t control the thermostat, a tv with minimal channels and no way to adjust the volume, a coffee pot with nowhere but the floor to plug it in, and a bed that sags terribly bad is a bit much. I took my wife here for Mothers Day and ended up leaving a day early due to the freezing cold room (it appeared there was one thermostat for all of the rooms), the pool was cloudy due to some sort of imbalance, and the worst were the treacherous mid evil stairs leading to the second floor (my wife almost fell twice) no warning about these online, a photo would be helpful for those with balance issues. The owner was nice enough but definitely not worth over $600 for 2 nights."

"We had an amazing weekend at this house! The beds were so comfy, sheets were soft, towels are fluffy, house was SO CLEAN! The Internet and TVs are great… kitchen is a gas stove The owner lives next door and is very accessible. If we are ever in Mt. Dora again, we will stay here!"

"Nice little cottage close to everything around, but no privacy from the bedroom to the living room the floors were dirty. The area rughad large black spots in the bedroom on it that were dark, we only had 4 bath towels ,for us to use. Kitchen table was dirty, but other than that, the host responded right away."

"Breakfast was excellent. Freshly prepared with care to individual needs and tastes. Rooms were spotless, cared for daily. Common rooms accommodated our group nicely. I cant say enough positive comments about the inn, our hosts, the food or the service. Also convenient to walk almost everywhere downtown. Close to pickleball courts."

"AT FIRST WE WERE DELIGHTED AT HOW CLOSE IT WAS TO DOWNTOWN. THE OWNERS DID NOT GIVE US THE CODE FOR THE DOOR UNTIL TWO HOURS BEFORE WE ARRIVED. THE FLOORS WERE DIRTY AND FULL OF SAND. WE CALLED THEM ON SUNDAY TO REPORT NO HOT WATER AND THEY DID COME AND TOLD US THERE HOT WATER CAME FROM ANOTHER BUILDING AND HE COULD NOT FIX IT. WE HAD BEEN ANTIQUING ALL DAY AND REALLY NEEDED AT SHOWER, WE COULD NOT. THERE WAS NO WAY TO GET TO THE ELECTRICAL BOX TO CHECK THE BREAKERS AND THEN WE NOTICED THAT THERE WAS NO BACK DOOR EGRESS, SO ONLY ONE WAY IN AND ONE WAY OUT. I CALLED BOTH OF THE NUMBERS ON THE PHONE AND NO ANSWER, SO I THEN TEXED THEM BOTH AND ONE ANSWERED AND SAID THEY WOULD TAKE CARE OF THE HOT WATER AND THEN NEVER TEXTED AGAIN. I HAVE BEEN TEXTING THEM AND THEY WILL NOT RESPOND. I WOULD LIKE A REFUND FOR AT LEAST ONE DAY OF THIS TRIP. THEY TURNED OUR TRIP INTO A NIGHTMARE."
