'The Hideaway' - Tucked in the Beautiful Wet Mountain Valley.

"Property was clean and peaceful, even when we had issues she was quick to address and fix them. We underestimated the heat and wish there was a portable air conditioner and the roads are rough but we made do with our mini van in dry conditions other than that everything else was perfect. Thank you again for your hospitality."

Spacious retreat on the Rim of the Royal Gorge

"The best part of this home was the magnificent views!!! Soo awesome to see the royal gorge from the window!! It was also great to have admission to the gorge covered each day we were there!! The piece that was hard for us was the airflow. It is an old AC unit so it flows well in the main area but the rooms were hot and stuffy even though they had fans. The fan was very loud at night sleeping. Also cooking on the stove, one burner was broke and the other took forever to cook and heat up. There were some bugs in the place and spiders we caught. Also be careful going out when it gets dark as the park ranger said there is a mama bear with her cub in the area as well as bobcat and mountain lion and other things to be aware of"

"Excellent and friendly staff. The room was quite clean no complaints there. The only issue we ran into was the AC not cooling the room well enough. It was up to 100 degrees in Cañon City and the front desk didn’t have a fan to lend out. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. Great hotel for families. Breakfast was pretty good. Kids enjoyed the pool."

"Everything was just as stated, we really enjoyed your place in Canon City, the view is fantastic with wildlife. The running water at the creek right beside cabin was very therapeutic. Had a deer within 20 yds. Awesome place. Thank you so much!"
