"The mattress was comfortable enough but not when it overhangs the divan base by a huge amount such that you could fall off. The staff refused to acknowledge our complaint, dismissing it as normal to put a large double mattress over smaller twin bases. They even implied we had created the problem by moving the bases together ourselves. Terrible customer service! Generally the decor was tired and the room too small despite the Privilege category. "

"An unassuming hotel about ten minutes walk from the cathedral and the canal. There’s secure parking at the hotel but it’s limited and the streets around don’t offer many safe places to park. The hotel itself is fine, bedrooms are clean and comfortable and only real complaint was very expensive breakfast. "

"HOTELS.COM did not call this hotel Fast Hotel when we booked and did not mention that it was a 1 star hotel. If you are used to this type of hotel, then ok, but if not... you'll get another room at another hotel like we did. "We had a lovely stay. Accommodations are simple and clean. It is an older hotel and new owners are in process of restoration. Great value given its location right next to the market, canal walk and restaurants. Bus stop very close, too. Breakfast was good. The staff is very nice and helpful. Thanks for a great stay!"
