It was spacious and well appointed, but the carpet was wrinkled in a way that it looked like it hadn’t been laid properly. It's definitely worth springing for a room with a balcony on the river if you can swing it -- gorgeous sunrises, glittering lights at night, boats and swans passing by....

I opened the window slightly and when I returned from my meeting, I found it locked with no key to open it. This is not a four-star hotel. "
